Howie should bring this guy in for a workout immediately. Is he completely washed up? If not, he'd make a fine 1-2 punch with Swift. Then Siri and his dunce coordinator are told to implement this guy, or else.

They've had Penny sitting on the bench all season, they have no interest in utilizing running backs.

Penny is infinitely better than gainwell and Scott, yet never dresses. Swift is criminally underutilized, even if the eagles wanted to bring him back no way does he come back here.

Players only meetings replaced with players only escape rooms because "FUN"

So we are using escape rooms instead of the term team meeting. Any time there’s team meetings it is a bad sign

Add a quality DE & LB with a new hire at DC, would change things pretty quick.

Gonna need 2 linebackers, plus 2 corners. 1 outside, 1 slot. Plus a S. I guess you can come back with Maddox but he can't stay on the field and Roby isn't an answer for next year so an insurance policy will be necessary.

NFL players in an escape room? Wouldn't surprise me if most are still in there.

Too little, too late. Ojomo should have been eating up snaps the minute they traded Street.

Likely Hurts wouldn't let anyone else do anything so he could get all the credit for getting them out.

Any talk of firing Sirianni is stupid.  If the team had not made the playoffs in his tenure, etc, sure, fire away.  How many teams lose a Super Bowl and win it the next year?  Not many

Of course, there needs to be coaching changes and personnel changes.  Nuking the whole team is a tad OTT.

Mailata has actually alluded to players only meetings on his radio hits, he just never came out and said it as such

Unfortunately I basically agree. I'm hoping this weekend's fall out rattles some cages to do things differently but that's a very long shot.

You're forgetting the Indy gambler. Slot is pretty much settled it seems.

I'm actually confident this won't happen, that's how bad NYG passing game is

I’ve never understood the whole Penny thing. I really liked the signing at the time.

Taylor was throwing nice deep balls.

Hyatt dropped one.

Might have been another called back on a penalty.

Completed one to Slayton.

He might toast the Eagles.

Signing was fine but there was always this weird, over the top obsession over him from the fanbase.

It's not the record, it's not the losing, but it's the way this team plays,  it's the locker room and the players on the team. If a coach loses a locker room, good luck getting it back. The team is a mess. Who fires their DC but doesn't really fire him but still fires him? That's disfunction. That's on the HC. That's what a desperate coach does.

Who are they more invested in?

Sirianni for 2 more years at about $12 million?

-or-

Hurts- $250 million

AJ Brown- $100 million

DeVonta Smith- traded with the Cowboys (handing them Micah Parsons) on his way to a $100 million

He’s not talented enough to play over Gainwell or Scott? He probably can’t wait to get out of here.

That's true, he is basically the insurance I guess. Though I'm not sure where he plays exactly. Moore has been their slot and he's very good. Not sure where this kid played when Moore was on the field. I know he's a returner.

Found this info about him

If they go out in the WC round there's no way Lurie tolerates it. That doesn't mean Sirianni is gone, but there would definitely be major changes. It would be one of the worst, if not the worst collapse of a 10-1 team in NFL history. At a minimum Sirianni stays and the rest of the staff is gutted.

Thats how i see it playing out

After the season ends, the Eagles have the following number of players signed at these positions.

WR-2

RB-1

LB-1

DE-1

Not only do they have glaring needs, they have serious depth to fill too.

Agree mostly.  I'd like to bring back Swift but not for too much money.

I don't think they'll draft a corner, they'll go with Slay and feel good about Ricks, Ringo and with Isaiah Rodgers coming off suspension.  They can bring back Roby on a cheap deal.

Safety they also have Brown, I think they'll slate him and Blankenship as starters.  Byard, not sure if they keep him as a backup or cut him but then you just have to sign someone else.

Ringo and Brown have been getting cooked in coverage. Not sold. Definitely can bring some guys in there.

Probably one of the freshest DL we have at this point.

speculation, at best.

I personally think injuries just caught up to him. Wouldn't be surprised if he's out of the league after this year.
