They don't pay safeties, so the idea of going out and paying a big contract for one is probably out(if a guy like Winfield even hits free agency, he may not). They need an upgrade, but at a fair price. He had his best season as an Eagle. He's familiar with the organization. Yes, things ended badly, but I've seen guys go back to organizations after much worse. He'll go to who wants him and pays him.

I'm not sure if both of the sides would be willing to concede on the past but Sydney/CJGJ would be a pretty sweet safety duo of the future (with proper coaching).

Buffalo better show up tomorrow, because they probably won't get any help. The boring Steelers making the playoffs over them would be a travesty. Their fault, but still awful for the game. No one wants to watch this Steelers team in the playoffs, they're a total snoozefest.
