There is no greater indictment on the coaching than the fact that they still haven't added anything to the offense to combat a blitz. Either they don't know how or don't think it's necessary. And I'm not sure what's worse. They have not changed one thing the entire season, how amateurish is that. It's beyond comprehension. Week 18 still running all verts on heavy blitzes. This is high school football level stuff.

He averages like 150 yards passing per game lately.  As long as he can run and throws poorly, we won’t notice the difference.

LMAO, so now we are going with the "black QB's aren't smart enough to run real NFL offenses" line in 2024. On second thought, we should be putting our trust in the guy who was a terrible play caller in his first few games as a coach and thought playing for a FG last week was a good idea. It's all the fact that our QB is too dumb to run a "real offense."

What system did we run last year when we had a top offense, Hurts was an MVP candidate and we almost won the Super Bowl?  Why aren't we running that offense?

That likely means we need a new coach to make it work since the guy responsible for that offense left and the head coach can't figure it out.

this doctor doesnt watch football. He says he can potentially play but may struggle with deep balls. Like Hurts hasnt already been struggling with deep balls.

They can't put in hot routes to adjust to blitzes, our black QB is too dumb to check to them.

I would choose Hurts.  Hurts + some kind of run first offense. Siri + Greg Roman and his offense that got Lamar off to a 19-3 start and a MVP. Greg Roman doesn't even need to be the OC,  but he knows how to do an offense for a running QB.    I'm not interested in the Philip Rivers offense.

RPOs, and now NFL defenses have become smarter and throw off Hurts' pre-snap read by doing different motions messing up his read. It no longer works as effectively. Hes confused and indecisive all year.

Run first offense + $250m QB = insanity.

The offense either needs to continue to ask Hurts to figure out how to pass at a high volume and start to do it well, or they need to get out from under that contract.

I hate to even get this deep into the weeds before anything has even happened yet, but worse case scenario is they get blown out in Tampa, fired Sirianni, but Harbaugh and Johnson are already hired by then. Kinda like when Doug was fired and they were a week late to the process and missed out on several coaches. And the Eagles will be picking from the likes of Canales and Brian Flores for their job.

Jim Harbaugh would turn Hurts into a star. If he made Kaepernick look good, imagine what he'd do with Hurts,.
