I’m rooting hard for the Bills. Have had a soft spot for them ever since the 4 straight SB losses.

Sydney Brown is out for next season then, so definitely need a starting safety or two in the offseason.

I don’t think Harbaugh is going to do well in the NFL with round 2.

I blame all of this on @Connecticut Eagle for spreading this into TWO threads.   We've never done it before, and look at the difference in what we saw between the two threads.   8-1 before the switch.  3-5 after.  Soon to be 3-6.   The Eagles during this version of the Blog are about on par with the Panthers, not even comparable to the Cardinals and Giants.

He can't possibly have a masters degree, he's too stupid for that.

He was able to pay for it when his rent was reduced

What’s the most infuriating offensive tendency to you for this team?

For me, it’s absolutely the fact that they refuse to use the middle of the field.

Their complete lack of commitment to the run game. Most games they'll run with some success for a drive or two, and once it's established they'll do nothing but pass

Rest up for next season

Torn ACL ugh.  He might not even be back for pre season.  Maybe the start of regular season.

Disagree.  I think he'll be like Pete Carroll and will be very good in his second stint as a pro coach.

He'll miss the first month

What a dumb decision by Apple to try and bring that out.

Might as well keep this thread going. Playoff thread will only last a week

the Eagles should beat the Bucs.   They will have to play better,  like they did to 10-1.

Add DL depth isn’t very good.

DE depth is nonexistent.  Disappointed with the DL in general.  Desai and Patricia getting more blame than frankly the talent level on D deserves. We now get to see if Howie is learning from his mistakes.   Undervaluing S, LB and DE.  Overvaluing older D players. Now he was cap limited this offseason (due to his void year addiction) so he had to settle for castoffs.

BTW, GA D players looking a bit like those Clemson DL from a few years ago where the sum was greater than the parts.

Have a feeling that we get news that Hurts needs surgery and we see Mariota v Tampa

I agree. I think he’s just a great coach. Is he an egotistical nutcase? Yes. But he wins.

Bring what out?

He isn’t coming here anyway. He wants personnel control. I don’t buy the report he’s open to not having it. He gets to do everything at Michigan in recruiting and building the roster. I don’t see him going back to the nfl not having it when his tenure in SF deteriorated and that was a big topic.

Cool, now a potential starter on defense and young player who needed all if the off-season reps he could get is likely out until October or November next season. News just keeps getting better.

Not if he tries to bring McCarthy with him. JJ is a good college QB, but I don't know about the NFL.

Injury to insult and the ish frosting on a dumpster fire cake. One of the only promising players in the back 7 probably going to miss next year

I think there is a fine line between optimistic and unrealistic...and delusional ain't too far behind that

Gutting the starting lineup in a futile game against the Giants AND feeling worse about everything is a fireable offense.

Only…I don’t think that decision came from Siri.

Situational playcalling and adaptation. It's like they actively did the opposite of what made sense on purpose. I've never seen such a talented offense look so difficult to move down the field. One hiccup and their drive was done a majority of the time.

Guess who's in charge of situational play calling

Could you imagine how this place would be if Sirianni benched everyone and somehow Washington won (like it did last year against Dallas) or like Arizona last week against us or Tennessee today vs Jacksonville?

Benching players would have been really dumb. You have to take the risk.

Clearly we won’t agree here.

I agree but somehow that would be less embarrassing than what happened today

I’d be shocked if they don’t go all LB & secondary with the high picks this draft.

I would be shocked if they do.  Fix holes in free agency and future with draft choices.
