Kenny G is Brian Johnson's son - next question.

I know you are making a joke but I'm accepting this as fact.

So basically everything…

It’s just bizarre.  I get some of the younger players, rookies, etc and blaming that part of it on coaching but what excuse do veterans have (especially the pro bowl level vets) of having "bad technique, effort and tackling”???? Like seriously, wtf.

Small potatoes in the grand scheme of things but with the outcome of the game having no impact on things after halftime, why didn't Tanner McKee, Rashaad Penny, BVS, Covey and Calcaterra get as much burn as possible. Would have been nice to see if McKee can throw it against an NFL defense. Penny, the dead horse is beaten to a pulp. BVS can't be any worse than the LB they have out there. Covey playing WR makes him much more valuable to the team. Just don't get it.

McKee - Couldn't play because he was the emergency QB, technically inactive

Penny - sucks

Covey- He played more than 50% of the snaps and got hurt. He's not going to be out there with Brown and the starters, so they did use him as much as possible once the starters sat.

Calcaterra - he was TE2 and played like a TE2. They wanted to give Stoll more reps.

BVS - saving him for the offense in the playoffs

I don't think the practices have much to do with anything. The Eagles beat the living hell out of the practice-hardened Niners in the NFCCG last season. This team has x's and o's issues.

I don't know if anyone posted this already or cares, but the 2nd round pick from the Saints is #50 overall. 18th pick in the 2nd round.

I thought the saints have the 14th pick

The lighter practices certainly haven't helped them late into the season this year. I don't think it is the main reason this team is falling apart, but it is contributing.

I was led to believe they went to another board; if folks miss them so much they can go say hello.  Personally, I don't think hundreds of posts about how bad our cap situation is and how woke our owner is adds very much to the overall conversation.

Sure, but the bigger issue was that they (as well as myself and others on this board) felt as though people that consistently play the race card weren't properly being addressed. They were all banned and low and behold, close to a year later, it's still happening. Shocker.

They do in the first round but if you go to the full order it shows the pick we got from them is at #50.

It's actually the lowest possible pick for a team that missed the playoffs. So that sucks.

We don't know what, if any, impact it's had on the season. Could be completely circumstantial. I've seen teams that practice really hard completely fall apart too. They're just in free fall right now, I'd guess practices have very little to do with it. When your players have disappeared and your coaches have no answers for even the slightest adjustments, you're going to plummet.

You are right.

It looks like the SOS tiebreaker rotates by round so its "fair".  Washington, Arizona and NE all finished with the same record, but in round one Washington goes first, then in the second round NE and in the Third Arizona.  Fourth is back to Washington.

I never noticed that before.

Maybe report whoever you feel is doing it? Mods didn't know what was happening until it was being reported. They've said they don't go through every post

It's good they missed the playoffs but they had to screw us by winning yesterday.

We have Sunday ticket so I was locked into that game as well as Tampa just for pure draft pick reasons.

Then for our game I was on baby girl duty which was the best decision I could have made.

Yes, but those tied with the same record rotate round to round, its not static.  Whoever holds the earliest pick in the first round rolls to last in round 2, and the others all move up one spot... lather, rinse, repeat for the remaining rounds.

My daughter is two and a half and ever since she was just shy of 2 years old she has been able to identify both of our logos.  If she sees in on a billboard she will straight up yell "EAGLES".

Yesterday AM I got her up and dressed.  Like every morning, we either let her pick or ask her if she wants to wear a particular garment.  So I thought I would pick out the long sleeved shirt with the old school logo on it.

daddy: "Do you want to wear this?"

Ellie: "NO!"

proud daddy: "Ok, how about this?"

Ellie: "OK!"

She knew.....
