I forgot about who his targets were.

In fairness, the weather looked awful, definitely affected both offenses.  Still doesn’t excuse our play calling or why we wouldn’t utilize Swift much more when he seemed to be on fire every time he touched the ball. 
 

That said, the defense shutting out Mahomes and the Chiefs (despite the refs) in the 2nd half could go down as one of the best defensive performances all season.

It isn’t pretty but they just find ways to win every week. They win with offense, they win with defense, they find ways to just do enough. It’s so impressive.

Adjustments are his best trait, first half and second half defense really are very rarely the same. I really appreciate it.

they basically did. they arent getting back there this year with those WRs. Buffalo and/or Miami will beat them. Maybe even the Ravens. This was their biggest, toughest game of the year.

Nope.  Beat 3 teams with 7 wins.  No other team in the league can claim that.   Eagles have 9 wins.  No other team can claim that.  

 

 

And... the defense in the 2nd half hasn't been pretty... but consider this:

0 points allowed in 2nd half tonight (and could have allowed 3 fewer total had Gainwell not run out of bounds).
6 points allowed in 2nd half against Dallas.
7 points allowed in 2nd half against Miami.

Those teams are a combined 21 - 9.  And the Eagles' D has allowed less than a TD on average in the 2nd half against them.  Not pretty, but getting it done.

Called the Eagles winning this in the first.

As ugly as they look sometimes, the Eagles only lost 2 regular season games in their last 25 games with Hurts starting. That's nothing to sneeze at. They find ways to win with this guy.

I don’t see how Detroit loses another game.  And I’m not high on Detroit either.   I don’t think they can hang with SF or Dallas at all.  But I’m just not sure how they are going to lose with that schedule (and I bet Dallas is eliminated from the division race by the time they play Detroit and goes out of their way not to help us with HFA).

Great game by the D. My only nitpick is the constant swapping of brown/roby in the slot.

We did need a little bit of luck there at the end with 2 huge drops, one being the go ahead TD but F it, I'll take it. 

I was very happy with Desai tonight.

He did a great job of taking away Mahomes' first read.  It was only when he extended plays that damage was done.

Beat the Cowboys, Dolphins and Chiefs. Those are all top 10 teams in DVOA. All have 7 wins. We were the better team in 2 of those 3 (we weren't tonight). 

This might be the biggest regular season win of Siri's career.

Beating KC in KC with Reid and Mahomes having a bye week to prepare.

How long till Chiefs fans turn on Travis? Should be be traveling internationally for fun with his GF during the season? Did he play like a focused hall of famer in his prime tonight? Seems distracted. Fumble and 3rd down drop.
