God that would be depressing. So many other candidates would be almost guaranteed to be better options. Leslie Frazier, Ejiro Evero, Dennard Wilson, Wink Martindale, John Butler, Anthony Weaver, Marquand Manuel.

I hope Sirianni bangs the table for Johnson and Patricia after the season. All the more reason to move on.

I dont think he will. He says idiotic things in front of the media to stand up for his guys. But when you see his intensity on the sidelines, you have to imagine he is ripping new a-holes constantly behind closed doors in meetings. There is no way he is putting up with the performances of coaches and players and happy about it.

@Joe Ball

How do you feel about matchup sunday's matchup..

Daddy Rodgers isn't here this time so thats a advantage for the boys

Well, it's a new season...I haven't looked a lot at it just yet but since you asked I know the following:

  1. They are a top 10 team in pass defense
  2. They are a bottom 10 in run defense
  3. They are top 10 in points allowed

Dallas needs to be able to run the ball effectively, which honestly they haven't really done well this year.

Offensively I know the following:

  1. They are 12th in passing
  2. They are 15th in rushing
  3. They are 12th in points scored

They have a really good group of receivers IMO, not world beaters but 5 good reliable wr's. That worries me a little honestly, they are young and get after it.

Thank God Rodgers isn't there to make a miraculous comeback like he did back in 2016 or whenever it was...

Don't turn the ball over and DAL should win the game, I think the spread is ridiculous, glad I am not a gambler.

I don't think GB has played as tough of a schedule over the last 6 weeks as DAL has but they do have a couple of quality wins (Lions & Chiefs) but they also have a couple of questionable losses (NYG, TB, PIT). TB beat them @ GB by 14, that's a bit surprising to me, but they have played well and similar to HOU are ahead of schedule IMO.

If GB can find a way to slow down Dak to Cee Dee they have a chance, but Ferg and Cooks have been coming on strong the last few weeks so we'll see.

DAL at home...nice stretch of home wins, that ends at some point right? i just hope not this year in the playoffs. I think someone else here mentioned earlier that a #2 hasn't beaten a #7 yet since the playoff expansion so that is always in the back of your mind. It isn't like it's a NCAA Final Four #15 over a #2...everybody is a pro and anything can happen, and a #7 over #2 will happen, just not this week in DAL.

I am not ready to make a prediction just yet but I will before Sunday. I think DAL will win, it's a matter of how tight of a game it will be, right now I am thinking DAL does not cover.

I expect the ball to be in the air a lot for both sides.

Sounds like the 2022 Eagles defense.

I fully expect QB1 to play like he did against TB in the playoffs a couple years ago. Trash

Siri is literally the coach over Doug right now because he will let Howie/Lowie pick the coaches and Doug wouldn’t.

Retreads by and large. I’d prefer Mike MacDonald or Jesse Minter. By a lot.

I think Doug was the kind of guy to say, your defense really sucks, but I love you man, and Ill go to battle with you any day even if we are going down. Ill ride or die with you.

Siri is the kind of guy to say, you Fing suck. Despite what he says in the media. I dont think Howie or Lurie have to even tell him they want to look for new coordinators. Sirianni probably already told them theyre gonna have to.

Lol

That seems more like it's on Stoutland though

McKinstry falls to us in this mock. Love it.

One man's retread is another man's experienced and seasoned veteran

I get that this is easy and makes for good TV, but do the defensive breakdown. That is overwhelmingly where the problem is

No idea what he's talking about regarding our OL standing straight up.  They're pass protecting.  The better thing to say would be run the ball more and let them run block.

They also blew a 17-0 lead to Carolina that year as well. Granted, Carson had the ball in his hands to win the game and decided to play hero ball and threw a pick to end it. I agree though, I'll take the sticks defense over the abomination that we have now.

We can't even get sticks defense right currently. Remember the end of the Chiefs game where we let a WR wide open on 4th and 24 (?) with 3 DBs near him. Luckily he dropped it.

No Wolverine bias here 😂

@Iggles25 bad news. Giants came out twice to watch and talk to the Arizona coaches about cowing.

His first year he used to yell at Hurts when he was fumbling and throwing interceptions or just making bad decisions.

Seems like he doesn't do it anymore unless the camera misses it.
