no they were obliterated by the boys on christmas don't you remember 3rd and 30?

I'm talking about in the playoffs they finally played a QB.  They were lit up in 2021 and 2022 in the regular season anytime they played a QB worth a damn.

Pretty funny listening to Cox talk about the escape room planned by AJ Brown "yea, AJ was lying on the ground asleep”

Contrary to popular belief, Slay has been solid (for the most part) this season:

@Iggles25 bad news. Giants came out twice to watch and talk to the Arizona coaches about cowing.

Figures he will wind up in the NFCE and thrive

While the Eagles go on to draft Watkins 2.0 in the 6th round

One of the coaches here compared him to zay flowers. I think he is gonna find his way into the 3rd round. He’s gonna run a good 40

Trouble is he'll be the first one to tell you that.

Are those numbers good for Slay? With how bad Bradberry, the slot CB and the LB’s have been there really isn’t a reason to even target Slay

I don't think Howie would be comfortable hiring someone like that who could go at him like that.

Perhaps, but I’m looking at their pro experience too. They play a certain style that I like. A light box with a stud MLB, three fast CBs, and three hybrids. It has worked for Baltimore as well as Michigan, the latter having colleges’ best defense.
They play most times with two down linemen, with the MLB the triangle that keys their interior run defense. Their DEs are stand-up, harder to hook and quicker to flow. It concedes some power but is more fluid. Most offenses these days are more speed than power. There’s a certain irony about a system that emphasizes power on offense but is designed to match speed on defense.

I think it can be a good system for us. We have an offense that can emphasize power, and we have a number of good DTs. I don’t think Dean will work as a MLB in this system but he can be a fine off-ball rover. Trotter Jr or Colson would be a better fit in the middle.

Coaching staff next year will be Nick HC, Brian Johnson OC, Frank Reich QB Coach and coordinator of the passing game or some title like that and Matt Patricia as DC.

I'd bring him here in a heartbeat

With statements like that you can cross him off the shopping list.  No way the Eagles will be able to afford him.

Power probably out until tomorrow. Yippee

Gardner-Johnson thinks hes the greatest too. He turned out to be very cheap.

And did he end up here, or somewhere else?

I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone except if you had to watch this wild card game on Monday

Yeah, I think he makes sense - I mean I like Sydney but he has to prove a bit more on the field and he also gets injured… kind of a Dean situation that we saw this season.  Do we want take that risk again? I don’t.

I wish the eagles would go after Darnell savage. He’s 26 and i think he still hasn’t reached his full potential. But he’s likely too costly too
