Lurie finally has the weapons on offense to have the high passing offense he's always wanted (even though we're a running team lol). He's going to get a offensive minded HC

It also went down for people

Tbh if they do it (i still do t think they do unless we just get rocked on Monday), i think they go after someone like slowik, Ben Johnson. I think a dark horse in this is Joe brady. They interviewed him last time. If Buffalo gets their offense going in this postseason i think he’s going to be a hot candidate

Rams.  He had an impressive 3 year stint where he went 1-15. 7-9 and then 2-14.  He was the HC when the Rams drafted Bradford.   He was also interim HC for the Giants when they fired Ben McAdoo in season.  He went 1-3 with them.

True that.

But my computer monitor is practically a flat screen TV.

For business reasons of course 😎

@mattwill

Buccaneers 38

Bonus: Hurts am is sacked six times.

Eh based on everything coming out of Washington, lesean mccoy was right. Players just absolutely hated him. It’s why their offense went south as the season went along

That’s interesting about EB. Whoever the coach is, they have to run their own offense/defense, successfully of course. We can’t keep having coordinators poached every time we have a successful season.

My Spags idea was some outside the box thinking. Spags could bring his defensive scheme here and maybe hire Frank Reich to OC. Reich is probably at a point in his career that he’d be content in that role if everything around him is working well. Also can’t imagine too many HC jobs being offered to him when he’s been fired there twice in two years

If they are going to go a defensive guy then BB is the play.  BB is a great HC but BB the GM is not good at all.  If he would be fine with working with Howie that could be a great combination.

I just can’t imagine that working out. Plus like I posted earlier, dude is 71yrs old. Our QB is 25, we’ll be hitting the rest again in 2 years, maybe 3 years max.

You get the GOAT HC for 2-3 years with an offensive core already built for him while he helps actually put together a great defense here.

BB wouldn't be my top pick overall though.  Harbuagh is probably the biggest of fish out there.

Love reich but if you go look at his offense at the end with the colts and his time with Carolina, it wasn’t all that exotic or innovative. Not sure you aren’t going to get much of the same you saw with the colts and panthers with better personnel

I hear what you’re saying. The crazy thing though is with the players we have on offense, it doesn’t have to be exotic or innovative. It just needs to be fundamental and efficient. If you think about it, it’s almost impressive how badly Brian Johnson has managed this talented group of players.

He was fired by the chargers and almost fired after his first year here. He isn't that great

I think it’s going to be somebody who is innovative because I don’t believe Jeffrey lurie believes he’s always going to have the best talent like they do on offense. They have that right now but that’s not always gonna be the case.  you want a coach that’s able to do more with less but you’re hoping going to give him as much talent as possible. It’s why i think lurie will look at someone like slowik. The Texans offense line isn’t great. They are pretty average to slightly below average at Rb. Lost dell but the offense with stroud hasn’t really missed much of a beat when he’s been out there.

:huh: Is your TV from 1990? Does it have knobs? I watch internet content on my TV quite often. Be less poor and/or electronically dumb.

Seriously. Frank Reich is the Flexseal meme for Eagles fans.

No!  Nobody has posted about it all for the last 50 pages!  First time hearing it!

Boy am I late to the party. Sorry P e n i s   I rarely come to the emb anymore.

The fact that there are actual people talking about Belichick, Vrabel, or Harbaugh as actual reasonable candidates knowing the turbulence they have had with GMs before, and how much power Howie has, just shows how desperate Eagles fans have been recently. You can't just plug everything in and hope it works, people will actually retire before they have anything to do with some of those guys.

@mattwill

Eagles 13

Buccs 30

Defense gives up 100+ receiver and 100+ rusher. Offense has more turnovers than TDs.

So the internet is a crazy place. Did you guys hear the new one that the Eagles were "playing possum” the last 5weeks and are gonna turn it in for the playoffs 😂

Shhhh...  and remember that everyone will switch their prediction exactly 15 minutes before kickoff.  Going to be tough for ole @mattwill but it has to be done.
