Further out than Rose Hill in Garland but yeh off I-30, I’m across the lake in Rockwall county…smallest county in the state, perfectly square 10 miles x 10 miles.

The Oilers leaving Texas sucked, that’s why I can’t get behind watching the Texans really, although it’s been pretty cool following what they have going on with this rebuild.

I go through Rockwall a bunch. Father in law lives outside of Paris so I get back to I30 south of that speed trap, Commerce.  I like Landon Winery in Greenville (also in Wylie near my wife’s family) which is rarely crowded.  Good bourbon barrel Cab.

Lots of friends are Texan fans. Ryan is doing a nice job there. Picked the right QB.

His tank is near empty but calling a WR screen to him may have been the worst call of the game. Not that any of their WR screens ever work but HE'S the guy you call one for? Just an atrocious play call.

The running game was working. Swift was getting chunks. Scott had 4 YPC on his 2 carries. The abandonment of the run game when the pass rush was teeing off on the Eagles OL was one of the most frustrating things last night. For some reason, be it BJ or Sirianni, they don't seem to know how to counter a defense with what's working well. They should have just kept running the ball at that point.

I think the WR screen to Jones was Goedert’s.  Peyton even suggested the same.  BTW, utter bliss to watch the Eagles on Monday night without muting the game to avoid Buck and brain dead.  Enjoyed the simulcast.

Scott had seven snaps and made the most of them. There was one play where he was in pass pro and not waiting for the blitzer to come to him, went and attacked him at the LOS and not only got the block but sealed that gap as well.

I hate to say it, but I think our offense will be better with Quez.

How so? Hurts didn't have time to get the ball down field most of the game. You prefer Quez on the slip screens?

It was Roby no one intentionally wants to get burned but if you are to get burned better not be Kelce.

What you're saying makes no sense.  It was a bust and we were lucky.  Just like when Kelce had drops

I'm old enough to remember when some in the blog were saying the NFL is imploding in on itself and destined to fail. Those hot takes are aging well.

As is the case with most hot takes.

Pretty clear what I'm saying. You're just not following.

He's up there on my "punchable media face" list along with Chris Collinsworth and Angelo Cataldi

Tucker Carlson is tops for me. That smug grill could use a Tyson left hook.

CBS Game of the Week.

Seriously. People are twisting themselves up like a pretzel trying to defend it. If he catches a wide open deep ball, Desai is getting crushed for having no safety help there.

Absolutely no one would be defending him saying, "at least it wasn’t Kelce,”and "you just gotta take your chances that MVS drops a perfectly placed deep ball.”

It’s all so absurd.

Yeah I honestly don’t think MVS catches that 50% of the time so if hecaught it we’d have had bad luck imo

You guys are weird.

Drooooppppppp. No one is saying let the man run wide open my dude. What people are saying is tripling Kelce and making someone else make a play was the right move in this situation with this particular receiving group who has a tendency to not make plays. Desai was right even though Roby horribly got burned ;)

There are a couple crazy schedules this year.  You guys getting the Giants twice in the last three weeks, the Lions getting the Vikings twice in the last three weeks...not a fan of that format, trying to figure out the reasoning...anyone know?

The NFL wants divisional games at the end of the season for more drama involved in each game, right up to the very end.  Now, why they are doubling up with teams?  Who knows?   Eagles played Washington twice in 5 weeks.  Have Giants twice in 3 weeks.   Makes no sense.   Flip one of the Washington matchups with a Giants matchup and even out the schedule more with divisional games.

No maybe about it. We were lucky with those drops. It’s not like Desai schemed for these guys to be open and banked on them dropping passes.

Given how often the KC WRs drop the ball... maybe he should have.

@EaglePhan1986 slamming some natty lights tonight? Trailer trash f

He's a pro player and that delivery was close to perfect. In a championship game with everything on the line, he wouldn't drop that again in similar circumstances. At least that's my bet.

You can't know that.  Ask Jackie Smith about that one.   Amirite @Joe Ball?

Some people on this board can't comprehend that the plan was to limit Kelce at all costs and force the other guys to make plays. KC failed.
