Well...for us...our OL isn't playing as well as last year, our passing and rushing offense are not as dominant, we aren't pressuring the QB at the same rate, and the pass defense has vastly regressed.  Honestly, the Eagles are at least somewhat worse pretty much across the board (aside from ST, where we have improved in both coverage and returns).

On offense we have scored 10 more points through the first 10 games this year as compared to last year. And I think we are playing better opponents.

The defense isn't playing as well, but again I think we are playing a better level of competition.

I think the biggest difference between this year and last year are turnovers, which is somewhat of a fluky stat. We were top 5 in both forcing turnovers and avoiding turnovers last year, and this year we are in the middle of the pack.

Rumblings are that Leonard might sign with the Bills.

Makes sense after losing Milano.

Oh look didn't even need this LB who got benched at MSU to cover Kelce, but I see you are already pivoting back to Fullback.

You didn't understand what I said in the first place.

Leonard seems like a good guy. I'm hoping he goes somewhere I don't have to root against him.

So Johnson seems to be making nice adjustments in the 2nd half this year, at least. Especially in RZ. Where we are lacking is those strong starts like last year, especially the 2nd Quarter. Needs to up his game there. He may be coming along, after all, but just a little slow. May just need to tweak it up there, that's all.

Have no problem getting Watkins speed back in the lineup. Just split time with him and Julio and that platoon could work. It's time to unleash Albert O this week. Grant C and Stoll need to hit the shelf.

Stoll is a heck of a blocker and so important to the run game.  With Calcaterra hobbled, I do expect to see more Albert O.

Good read.  Got to start scouting spikes.

How ‘bout dem boys.

True. But, we could just as well put an offensive lineman out there and get about the same. He's just not a threat as a receiver. Like more Albert O.

It's not luck.  Their WRs suck.  In defense of AR, I don't know that (this time around) he had much choice at WR.  Mahomes needed his mega deal and their defense sucked...so resources got diverted in that direction and they had to bank on Mahomes' superman act getting the job done.  And it got them a SB last year and will get them damn close to another this year.

No offense to Hurts, but the difference in the QB's was pretty apparent Monday night.  Hurts is underthrowing and missing some elite weapons and still marching along the field while Mahomes is putting the ball right on guys as their drives are stalling.  It's not a 1 man team

You sound like Troy Aikman.

This was pretty good play design.

Had their time in the 90s.

Yes they did. It was a joke based on others commenting about luck in the game Monday. All good though. The Eagles earned their win, no luck involved when you shut down a really good offense for an entire half.

Mahomes had a number of misfires. But no one seems to see those.

I got the joke. Just adding one of my own. All hood.

They've been doing an excellent job blocking as well. STs is much improved especially slowing down the gunners.

Also, regarding special teams, besides Covey being better this year. Mann, clutched up, in bad weather to boot and flipped the field a few times. So refreshing to see that. The fact that he has the potential to do that is a nice change. I'll take his one shank here and there for that alone. That guy has talent. Had a great hold on a bad snap as well that Buck brought up. The guy is also an elite kick off specialist and can kick field goals pretty well dating back to college. It's not just about holding and fondling someone's balls..

It's been night and day.  Went from a huge weakness to a borderline strength.  (On average.  They were great on MNF)

I often wonder what proportion of plays like this are drawn up by Stout vs Siri or BJ. Seems like it's got his fingerprints all over it and I absolutely love it. We need to send a gift basket to Chip for finding and bringing him here. Dude just might be one of the best position coaches in the history of the game.

IMO the only reason Stoll is considered a good blocker is because he's better at blocking than he is at receiving, which isn't saying much. The reality is, he's an adequate blocker and doesn't offer anything else. Same for Gainwell. There's this narrative that KG is great at pass blocking but all I ever see is him just being very MEH. The offense is worse with both of these guys on the field.

Turnovers is not a very sticky stat from year to year.  Involves some luck.

Darn, I used that "luck" word again.
