Still got some space on the lions for #1 seed. That's a win in my book. Their schedule is so easy the rest of the way. I expected all 3 teams to win.

after watching them and knowing they only beat one winning team I would trade their loss for a dallas loss.

Well GB did us the only favor today

Biggest favor we could’ve had IMO. But now in hindsight Lions look like paper tigers. Still have an easy schedule. 9ers are our biggest threat.

Meh, I don't see the cowboys being a serious threat to the 1 seed. At this point I think it's only the 49ers. If Eagles win that game against them then it's nearly a wrap. Lots could happen between now and then though.. nfl is a week to week league.

Eagles 31

Bills 20

AJ and Devonta each go over 100 yards

Our concern with the Cowboys isn't necessarily that they'll get the number one seed. It's that they'll win the division, giving us the five seed and putting us on the road for the playoffs.

Right but do you see the cowboys winning out? They lose 1 if not 2 games the rest of the way. That leaves the Eagles going to 4-3 the rest of the way worst case.

Between the Eagles, at BUF and at MIA they will lose two of those three games.  They’ll do no better than 12-5

@mattwill

Eagles 17, Bills 14. Swift with 100+yds and TD

Eagles: Bills, 49ers, @Cowboys, @Seahawks, Giants, Cardinals, @Giants

Cowboys:  Seahawks, Eagles, @Bills, @Dolphins, Lions, @Commanders

49ers: @Eagles, Seahawks, @Cardinals, Ravens, @Commanders, Rams

Lions: @Saints, @Bears, Broncos, @Vikings, @Cowboys, Vikings

Cowboys game for the division, Niners game for the 1 seed.  That's pretty much it.  Niners only have 1 conference loss, Cowboys have 3.

Even if the Eagles lose to both the Niners and Cowboys and win the rest of their games they hold the tiebreaker over the Cowboys.

The Head-to-Head would be a push with both the Cowboys and Eagles winning once
Won-Lost in the Division would also be a push with both teams having 5-1 records (right now the Eagles are 3-0 and the Cowboys are 3-1)
Won-Lost in common games would both be 11-3
Won-Lost in Conference would be 10-2 for the Eagles and 9-3 for the Cowboys. That loss to Arizona is the killer

To Break A Tie Within A Division

If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

Two Clubs

  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
  5. Strength of victory in all games.
  6. Strength of schedule in all games
  7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed in all games.
  8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games.
  9. Best net points in common games.
  10. Best net points in all games.
  11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
  12. Coin toss

Birds 31

Bills 17

Bonus: Bills get a late TD making the score look closer than the game was.

The Birds finally play a complete game this season.

I did some quick math for the #1 seed and it's pretty straight-forward.

Option 1: Lose to Buffalo & Dallas, beat SF. Win the rest.
Option 2: Lose to SF, beat Dallas/Buffalo. Win the rest.

Essentially, the only viable path to the #1 seed that doesn't require big upsets against the 49ers or Cowboys requires winning one of the two Dallas/49ers games.

defense puts the lock down/devonta gets 99 again.

Basically, they can lose 2 more games if they beat SF.  If they lose to SF, that has to be the only game they lose.

For those crowing about how good the NFL ratings were, yesterday was a reality check.  2 games were flat out beatings, and the other was an incompetent QB turning the ball over. For all the eyes on Eagles Chiefs, yesterday was a poor product.

I wasn't paying close attention.  Looking at her in that outfit was just too much for my eyes to take.

I don't see Dallas being favored at Miami.

Another injury for the Niners

I agree with this. Detroit also entered the game with 2 losses, not 3.

With Detroit's loss, the SF game is the biggest of the season. Must-win game to stay ahead of them.

Sf was always the biggest game of the year...

But the win over the Chiefs made the second Cowboys game less of a must win.

Beat the 49ers, Lose at Dallas, and run the table.on the rest... HFA goes to the Eagles without a sweat.  But even so, I think they'll be able to rest starters in that final week, because I expect Dallas to drop at least one more along the way... either at Buffalo or at Miami.

It certainly looked to me like Rivera has quit on his team.

Been saying this for a while, the easiest path to the #1 seed is beating SF.  Lose to them, and it gets dicey......Buffalo Win, SF Win, Dallas Loss, Seattle Win, then just win 2 out of last 3 and 14-3 should do it with head to head vs. SF.
