Part of his problem with Indy was playing time. He wanted more, they gave him less. I’m not sure he’ll want to sign just as a backup.

I just went and took a look, he’s played in 9 games, 65 tackles (34 solo). I had read when he was released a couple of days ago it was a scheme thing that was limiting playing time. Who knows the real story.

Not sure Leonard is anything more than insurance in case one of our lbs gets hurt. He's not better than what we have, but not worse.

He might be worse…

Until he proves to just be on the level of another Cunningham, Im hopeful that we sign him and he dominates.

If nothing else, he could be depth. Who do we even have beyond Morrow and Cunningham? Ellis and Patrick Johnson? He’s gotta at least be better than them

VanSumeren

Some have argued that VanSumeren leading the preseason in tackles is a good indication,  not a bad one.  It's a good enough indication that he should be included on a list of Eagles ILBs.  From him at ILB,  maybe you get mistakes because raw,  and maybe you get sideline to sideline speed and more tackles than a slower ILB. Maybe some of both.

Online shopping has more freakbeast versatility than big box stores

Now that I'm high,  I'd like to argue that the big box stores are more freakbeast because of the speed of being able to get the product fast.   But online shopping has way more versatility.  a much wider selection of products,  sometimes even including what I actually want.

Everything I read about Leonard now is folks very carefully, respectfully implying he's done and that his only chance is playing in the Eberflus system.

If the Eagles are gonna sign a name guy, give me Akiem Hicks or Carlos Dunlap. Maybe Chandler Jones if he's doing better.

I dunno if that guy's ever coming back to the NFL unfortunately. Seems like he's got a long road to getting back on track and I'm not sure the stress of the NFL is helpful there.

Going to the game Sunday and flying solo. I plan on getting to the complex fairly early and mulling around a bit. What's the best way to kill sometime down there for a few hours before kickoff?

Online knows what you want before you even know what you want. If that’s not freakbeast I don’t know what is.

Find a guy in a Steelers jersey and fight him while his kid watches

Not sure I can help you with that question, but I would advise you to dress for rain. Find the appropriate gear and at least have it with you.

Rain games suck for the fans.

Exciting to finally see Arch Manning get some action.  I've been following him since he was starting as a Freshman in HS.  He will win multiple championships in the NFL.

He's got a bit of a Manning tick to him with that arm twitch between plays.

I think the Coaches think of these things and fiddle around with what player can do what.  Otherwise, you don't get WRs throwing passes and wildcats and the Philly Special.  Or even goofy crap like the play with Zeke blocking, lol.

So, (bastardization of) Occam's Razor for me.  Simplest answer is the most likely.  They tried this in practice and he is nowhere near close enough to game ready for such a role.  Same with using him in coverage, perhaps?

I had amazing sex in the rain once in NE Philly behind the 8th precinct (the warehouse area on Decatur?).  Around 18 with then girlfriend and we get out of my 74 Lemans and bang on the trunk in torrential rain in the middle of a Sat or Sun (empty but still in full view of the street).  Anyway, that is my rain story.:groovy:

Supposedly Hooker and Gilmore are trying to recruit him…Vander Esch needs to be replaced but I’m not sure this is a move I would go with. It seems like it would a late season Jerry "splash/name” signing vs production/cost.

For wall the talk of how washed it he is, Leonard doesn't look bad in these plays this season. Also has 65 tackles despite reduced playing time and role.

Watched the game tonight. I watch all the Longhorn games. The crowd went crazy when he came in really late in the third qtr, then the team went crazy after a few plays with him in.

He’s got wheels, a rifle for an arm, and you can already see the maturity. The moment wasn’t too big.

Ewers is likely to return next season so Arch might sit another year which I’m not sure about. I think he could be as good as Ewers or better by next fall, if he isn’t already. I’m serious, it may have been that it was the Red Raiders but he just looked and played the part with confidence.

It is very unlikely he would transfer out. Malik Murphy might, but Sark ain’t gonna let him get away.

Of course Bob Sturm would be in lol…great radio personality but he doesn’t consider long term. Shaq does look quick still but he is gonna want too much $

Watching the Manningcast of Eagles-Chiefs  on the fourth and 25, Peyton said…

"That was not a good defense at all by the Eagles. That was horrible.”

It was only a three man route to the sticks. The Chiefs had a receiver in both flats. Sydney Brown was really slow to react to the route. It’s hard to believe 7 covering 3 would leave a curl route at the sticks that open.
