Saturday morning Predictions Update

34 predictions recorded thus far.  30 for an Eagles win and 4 for a Bills win.  The Average Predicted Score is an Eagles win by the score of 30-20.

Online is pushing you to buy something similar to what you want. 

What is unusual is that you can use google to search for a consumer product and then facebook won't stop sending you ads for that product.  Sometimes you get a lot of ads after you buy the product.

So, (bastardization of) Occam's Razor for me.  Simplest answer is the most likely.  They tried this in practice and he is nowhere near close enough to game ready for such a role.  Same with using him in coverage, perhaps?

I don't think you can assume that the Eagles have tested VanSumeren at LB in great detail,   have fully assessed him.   You can't really guess what they've done. If they have tested him,  what you would be able to say is that he's not at this point better than Morrow or Cunningham.   The Eagles don't seem to like to platoon at all in most positions.   My guess is that VanSumeren is getting better at whatever it is they have him do in practice,   most likely ILB,  but it also could be FB or another position on offense.

Looks decent if the price is right, sign him. i mean him in a rotation with Marrow & Zach cant hurt alot of experience at LB for us.

This supposedly was the game where it was pretty much over for Leonard. He can still attack in a straight line, but the agility, flexibility and athleticism was eroded by his two back surgeries. Zeke toasted him pretty easily.

That would be my biggest question with him too. How he looks in coverage. 

Figured this would be the best place to ask this.

Are there still active members here that run game day tailgates that people can join? I want to say in like 2010 and 2011 I attended some where they just asked for a fixed dollar amount to contribute towards food and drinks. I’m going to tomorrow’s game (solo now) and figure I’d be worth checking to see if there is some pregame socialization I can piggyback off.

smells like a shootout to me

Besides the NFL screwing us in regards to the schedule, giving teams like 10 days off in back to back weeks prior to playing us.....could the weather just f'ing cooperate?  Patriots, Jets, KC were all played in the rain and I can swear there were more.....

I love the narrative of analysts on TV/Intranet....Eagles might be worst 9-1 team ever, they aren't beating teams by 80!  Yet, with all of the injuries in the secondary, new coordinators, losing Hargrave, LB's, CJGJ, playing one of the hardest schedules and yes, even the f'ing weather conspiring against them.....they are 9-1.  To which, I say, SUCK IT!!

That's what everyone loves though.  Playing in the elements.  The rain, wind, snow, etc.  That's how football should be played.  So I'm told anyway.
