Wednesday evening Predictions Update

19 predictions recorded thus far.  8 for an Eagles win and 10 for an Andy Reid triumph and one tie.  Average predicted score is Eagles 28 Chiefs 30

As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  So far over the course of the season 99 different EMB posters have made at least one prediction.

A list of the predictions is presented below, sorted alphabetically by the name of the predictor.  If you don't see your name there, then I haven't yet recorded a prediction for you.

This sucks to see. One of my favorite prospects. I forgot to mention him in my short list of players I'm keeping my eye on for the Eagles.

He looks white.

That's a bummer.  He plays a ton of off coverage at Iowa, so kind of a projection at CB.  I like him as a C3 Hafanga type safety, that's runs around with good range/excellent instincts in zone.

That's awesome. Any context here? Did you do this? is it artwork you found somewhere to be purchased or just an online image?

It's a limited edition trading card, I saw Dawk talking about it on Birds Huddle (in the video below):

Try option 1 - the starters.

If option 1 doesn't work, try option 2 -  Nolan Smith and/or VanSumeren.

There is no reason my suggestion should get you, and others, so butt hurt.

No one is butt hurt... your suggestion is assssinine though.

Not to mention an elite returner.

I am new to the board and posted a different season ending injury story yesterday in the wrong location...Jonathon Brooks, likely the top RB prospect (according to Kiper) for the upcoming draft, tore his ACL this past weekend. They are now projecting he will have surgery, rehab, and return to college for the '24 season vs declaring for the draft.

Also, a bummer - but I think that's a mistake.  Enter the draft, get paid to rehab, don't take a chance of getting dinged again in college and save some tread for the pros.

Part of me agrees, but at the same time, he sat behind Bijan last year...and only has 231 collegiate carries, 187 this year for 1189 yds, he's got plenty of tread, I guess it would come down to how far he might slide in the draft due to the injury as well. IDK, can't fault him either way he goes really.

I think he was a 2nd rounder, the injury drops him to the ~4th.  If he comes back and plays like gangbusters, is his reward a late-1st contract/5th year option and franchise tag if everything pans out vs. getting to free agency earlier/younger? Tough math for RBs...

If they do lose this week (and there’s a good chance they do) then they have to bounce back against Buffalo.

Buffalo is falling apart

@mattwill

Eagles 27

Chiefs 37

Toney 60 yard TD

Like to see our D actually get some turnovers in that game, but given that Chickenman plays great against us - we can also expect something uncharacteristic like BUF playing a clean game.

You sound exactly like a butt hurt person.

To you, trying something different if what you tried first doesn't work is asinine.

Sounds  like you're butt hurt,   but you're just not smart enough to explain why.

He's definitely on Howie's list now.

Sixers with a great 2nd Q. They hustle on both ends like college kids out there.  Impressive.

I said a few days ago, he may not be the best CB in the class but his versatility seems to fit our needs best. Hes the S/CB hybrid we can use. Also can return kicks.

And get him at a bargain.

yeah. Im not sure about that though. Unless its some nasty lis franc fracture I dont see why he cant participate in all of the usual pre-draft stuff. 4 weeks for a bone to heal is 12/15. Plenty of time to prepare for the combine yet, at at least a pro day.

Have the Sixers finally gotten over their Celtic kryptonite?

We need him at a bargain... or they are very unlikely to be in position to grab him.
