If Dallas doesn't make the NFCCG, McCarthy is toast IMO.

Not seeing it since he gobbles Jerruh’s nob…

eagles running away with it is an easy excuse

Why does this seem to be a constant against the Eagles?

Bc there is a lack of talent in the back 7 and absolutely nothing creative in the scheme?

is this a trick question?

Or you can tackle from behind and push the ball carrier forward for 3-4 yards every time like this team does. They've mastered that art 😑

I could design an entire play sheet based on the Tush Push formation...

Pretty sure that kick puts him over Akers as GOAT Eagles kicker.

Not to single out you per se, but I'm really tired of this narrative. Elliott has been better than Akers for a long time. This isn't something recent. I liked Akers a lot, but I also think he was overrated by our fan base. Those blown kicks (41 and 34 yards) against the Packers in that playoff game might very well have cost them the game, but you never hear a peep about that from our fans.

Nope, just voicing my frustration that it keeps happening.

When I first saw this video yesterday I thought it was immediately after the game; then at the end you can see the game is in progress.

Way to keep your heads in the game, guys    😂

If I'm reading the scoreboard right, it was the first quarter

If I’m Ben Johnson I’m not going close to that situation. Much rather go chargers or Buffalo if they fire McDermott

The Panthers are going to lose Burns too.  They will have the least talented roster and a QB with a big question mark.  I think San Diego and Buffalo will be the top 2 choices.  Buffalo should be any head coaches top choice because of Allen. San Diego should be a close second.  I am not sure if Atlanta is getting rid of Arthur Smith but they should.

I think Davis just wanted a breather...

I thought that too. Not just for him but for the other DTs as well. With Williams out and Cox hurt, they were getting worn out with their limited rotation. Him lying on the sideline for a minute or two was absolutely beneficial for us.

Also I think that Jordan Phillips "encroachment" on the first tush push was 100% intentional, and something I was kinda worried teams would start doing eventually either due to frustration of not being able to stop the play or to "set the tone".

My take when it happened was "He did that because he knew they would get it, so what's the difference between a 2-3 or 5 yard gain?"

Would they just promote the QB coach again?

Got to imagine with sirianni’s friendship with reich that he would be a candidate for it

Week Twelve / Game Eleven Prediction results
@paco and @Mortimer in Week Twelve where the 88 recorded predictions were 74 for an Eagles win and 14 for a Bills win.

Hey, no mention of Taylor Swift either!  I crushed it this week!

Defense tried to give up a TD but buffalo wouldn’t have it.

One of the most disgusting momentary feelings I ever had while watching an Eagles game was the fourth down play against the Falcons in the playoffs. When Ryan rolled to his right and then stopped and quickly turned to his left, I was sure in my mind that it was a designed play and that there was going to be a Falcons player standing all alone in the endzone for the easy touchdown. My heart sank. But that wasn't the case. (Thanks Kendricks by the way.) Instead, we had to endure another few seconds of agony as Ryan drifted and drifted and then threw incomplete to future Eagles star wideout Julio Jones.

It wasn't quite the same since the game wasn't going to decide our season, but I had a similar reaction when I saw Allen loft a ball to the endzone in the overtime. My seats are in that endzone so I had a great view of the Bills receiver running free for an easy touchdown. So in my head, the game is over. We had a dramatic comeback but our defense couldn't stop them when it mattered, so we lost. And then somehow the ball flutters harmlessly on the ground about five yards from where the receiver was running. Talk about relief!

Hard to say, but there are a lot of people that believe this is the case. I think I am in that camp as well even though some of the shortcomings of McCarthy's (like clock management and ludicrous 4th down decisions in the first couple of years) have been improved upon.

The Cowboys have had enough talent the last two years to get to the NFCCG, they just haven't played when it counted in those divisional rounds...both against the 49'ers and one was at home. I believe it has become a mental thing now.

I see a similar outcome this year honestly. In order to get to the NFCCG this year they will likely have to beat the NFCS champion in the WC (just like last year against TB), on the road...shouldn't be an issue (maybe). Then they play either the Eagles or the 49'ers in the divisional round on the road, a tough ask. I don't care who they play or where they play, I just want them to make the NFCCG at a minimum. That at least shows progress. That's the only way McCarthy keeps his job for certain.

I would rather they play SF and win so it is an all NFCE NFCCG...
