I think (and hope) this is just Nick being a coach and not wanting to say anything firm about it.

Hardly a surprising revelation

Sigh.  Sadly, true.  The best ability is 'availability' (Did Bill Parcells say that?)   Unfortunately for Nakobe, he seems to be lacking in both ability and availability...

Hopefully this isn't how his career is going to go and it's just a few fluke injuries, but it's not looking great. Kind of got lucky with both Morrow and Cunningham. Could you imagine if they both turned out like every other cheap free agent LB the Eagles sign? Yikes.

When AR was with the team, his winning record after a bye was good, presumably he had more time to prepare for the game.  The same should be true for the Eagles too.  It would be up to the coaching staff's ability to study for tendencies and put together a winning game plan.  In the SB last season, the Chiefs had the upper hand and hit our defense with same play for 2 easy TDs.  Can't let that happen again.  The new DC must put the secondary in position to defense and win the battle in RZ.

They'd need to ban all pushing, because plenty of games feature pushing from the O to get extra yards

Yeh, I don't see that happening, pulling is very easy to see and is not allowed. flagging pushing would lead to a lot of quick whistles on forward progress calls and take away from the game as we know it. They have a lot of other penalty characteriziation and enforcement issues that need working on before worrying about qb sneaks or pushing.

Useless profession trying to be useful. There's a reason almost all of them are very attractive. They're hired more for their looks than their reporting. There's very little they get that the booth can't get and relay to the viewer themselves.

So he's not the Chosen one after all?

That's the jeopardy that are putting themselves under.  If they block the Shove, teams will inevitably ask for other similar plays to be banned too.

It is. Very little of interest comes out of the half time reports. It's coach speak at best, gibberish at worst.  I'm glad someone said the quiet bit out loud

That's a long way to say "I agree with him".

That might be the shortest injury report since week 1

I guess Stout is good with our tackle depth.

Just a stupid thing to 1) do and 2) admit out loud for everyone to hear.

I heard Myles Jack and his mother bought an ECHL team.  I hope the business venture goes well for him.

It's probably nothing but the timing of the Jack move is interesting. Are they trying to bring him back onto the PS?

@mattwill

Eagles 35

Chiefs 33

Eagles win on a Jake Elliott field goal with less than 20 seconds left in the game.

Is Shedeur entering the draft? If he transfers again, he sits right?

About twenty years ago (maybe more?) I had season tickets to the New Jersey arena league team. It was hardly a hard core thing. More of a social thing because of a college friend who used to go to all their games with friends of his. So I hitched onto their group for a couple of years. As long as you go in knowing that the players aren't "good" and that it's almost a different sport, it actually becomes enjoyable to watch. The games are usually every entertaining.

Anyway, much to my surprise, one of the visiting teams had a very, very tall offensive tackle. It was Bernard Freaking Williams. This was long after his Eagles career had ended.

So in a way, I'm kinda surprised by this news. How was he eligible to play in another league while still being an Eagles entity?

Yeah, that's an intriguing thought. Not that he's any good but there could be some hidden motivation behind the move.
