Outside Dak and Romo, who else would you consider better than average over the past 25 years?  I guess you could put twilight Troy in there as well.  But in between it wasn't pretty with Bledsoe being the highlight and he was average at best at that point.

Yeh, I didn't word that very well...I meant avg QB playing in the league.

This Cowboys fan reminds me of that Packera fan that was here for a like a month.

Is that good or bad? I know some Packers fans, it’s got to be a bad thing. If I need to tone it down y’all just say so, no hard feelings here.

BLOG was mad but it was long overdue with how poorly Wentz was playing that season.

I'm not sold on making OT a need in this draft, I think it's more of a need in 2025/2026.

Right now Steen is presumed to be the RG starter in 2024. If Lane goes down, kick him out to RT, and insert one of the backups into RG. The Eagles could manage to do that for a year and then in 2025 can look at OTs.

My biggest needs would be:

DE - They have no one outside of Sweat for next year. Can we rely on BG for another year?

DT - Potentially Cox gone, never hurts to have more depth here. Can Ojomo get more playing time this season?

WR - Quez is gone after this year and the Birds don't have much behind Smith/Brown next year.

TE - Goedert is a top 5 TE, but he has also missed several games the past few years due to injury. There is nothing behind him.

CB - While both starters are over 30, I have confidence in Ringo/Ricks/Jobe should Slay/Bradberry hit the cliff.

RB - This is actually a tough one. I don't think they can afford to give Swift a 2nd contract, but he's also been really good this year. Do they make a move in the draft to secure a back on a rookie contract for 4 years?

OL - It's almost a given, but the Eagles should strive to draft OL every year.

James is a good dude. Took the high-road after the holding call in the Super Bowl and took it here too. I hope he has himself a game on Sunday.

I'm with you, divisional games for the most part are just ultra competitive. I have a buddy of mine who always wants my picks on games so he can place bets, I tell him stay away from divisional games...It tried to tell him to stay away from the Lions/Packers this past week in his survivor league, he picked the Lions...

I thought it was almost a foregone conclusion that the Packers were going to win that one.  Lions are being exposed now... and they have a legit shot at not winning the division.  It's not inconceivable that the Vikings could beat them twice down the stretch and overtake them at the last minute.   Detroit could enter the playoffs on a 3 game losing streak (@Vikings, @Dallas, Vikings).   And even before that... they are on the road against the Saints and Bears... and even the Broncos could give them trouble.  It's possible they go 2-4 down the stretch finishing at 10-7.  The Vikings could match that and with a sweep in their head to head series win the tiebreaker.  (Vikings schedule: @Raiders, @Bengals, Lions, Packers, @Lions.    That got easier with the Burrow injury.   They could go 4-1 in that stretch to win the division, assuming a sweep of the Lions.  Even a split with the Lions, if they end up with the same record, I think the Vikings still get the nod on the tie breaker. )

Not at all.  You are adding an interesting perspective and without being obnoxious.

Pay no attention to him - he's a troll

Yeh, I was thinkning about how the Lions finish out after the game on Thanksgiving. The Broncos are definitely putting it together at the right time, I expect a split for Lions in the Minnesota games. I am not convinced they can beat the Bengals either, it will come down to the Bengals defense I think, they will need to play extremely well.

No one pays attention to that poster. You are fine.

Any picks for TNF?  Seahawks are _so_very_ overrated.  They are 6-5 and the only quality win they have was against Detroit and that was in week 2.  The only hope the Seahawks have will be that this is a trap game for Dallas and that they are already preoccupied with their game against the Eagles next week.  I don't think that'll happen though.  Dallas 34 - Seattle 17.  Typical Thursday night football snoozer and we can all go to bed by halftime.

They worked him out yesterday

Not a bad signing.  Not a world beater by any means, but I feel like anytime I saw him get the ball in his hands he made a positive play.

Agreed - we won't be in a position to draft a OT who has the polish to play right away (maybe not for awhile really), but with a year or two until Lane hangs it up Stout can develop a freak that can serve as quality depth in the short-term.

I'm not so sure about that. Someone like Jordan Morgan may be there or available into the 20's where we could trade up without giving up a ton. I like some of these second tier tackles this year, quite a bit actually, the top 2 guys in Alt & Fashanu obviously aren't realistic. But a second tier player may be there or within striking distance of a reasonable trade up.

Saw him in DC.  Not a bad player, decent depth signing.

Just an observation.  Not a complaint or anything.  We had a Packers fan for a bit that was very non confrontational that would post here quite often.

Really just wanted to use this gif

Why? He improved a team from 1 to 4 wins.

When we drafted our 5th Bulldog defender, the realist in me thought that if even just 1 guy is still a starter in 8 years then that is pretty good. But Howie really did it. Theyre taking over the league at 22, 23 years old
