I think, but could be wrong, but don't you have to keep a guy on the roster for at least 3 weeks if he's been signed to the active roster?

I believe you have to pay him for those three weeks but I don't believe you have to keep him.

That's for players coming from a different teams practice squad

I’d gladly welcome Ertz back in Philly.

Having Zach back on the team would be good too!

Not sure if real, but I WANT it to be

Bad weather on Sunday, and that will keep things close.  I think that favors the Eagles.  49ers are not battle tested like our Eagles.

Eagles - 27, 49ers - 24

Bonus:

  • Jalen Hurts throws 2+ TDs, rushes for 2+ TDs.

@mattwill

This is purely an observation based on the language being used in these tweets, but it seems there are a lot of people who should be proud of an African American being successful and a positive role model within their own community who would rather tear him down. Jalen Hurts doesn't deserve any of the hate he gets. He's done absolutely nothing to deserve it and it blows my mind the way people talk about him. Sure he can be frustrating to watch at times but if there ever was a role model in sports, Hurts should be top of the line.

Could you have picked a worse pic of her?

It's all in your head according to @mattwill

Jalen and the Eagles are getting no hate or disrespect nationally.

Other fan bases say gross trolling things on the internet??

I was thinking Sims, with his size might be signed as a backup, backup, backup tight end.

Unless or course, the team just isnt happy with Julio's output.

In any event, Id prefer signing Ertz back here and he can handle 2nd TE and a lot of slot duties.

Interesting to see MJD oick the Eagles so much this year.  For years he has been very anti-Eagles on NFL Network.

You can handpick hate on any public figure on the planet on there. That's all this is.

If he can't stay healthy then why sign him besides nostalgia

Neither can Calcaterra.  and he's way better.

If the choice is Ertz or Leonard due to cap space, who do you choose?

I'd take Leonard.

I sign Leonard to play TE.

Pretty sure julio is gonna be cut if it comes to that. They have Watkins back and sims on PS now. Julio doesn’t play ST. Don’t need Watkins and julio on a roster where neither play special teams.

Julio is giving us Art Monk production!  :flex:

I wouldn’t sweat it.  There’s about 5 knuckleheads on Twitter hating on Jalen.

90% of (respectable) folks out there (at the very least) respect him and just about every Eagles fan loves the guy both on and off the field.

If they are signed from an opposing team's practice squad, yes.  If they are signed from your practice squad I don't believe that is true.

Seems you are predicting a missed PAT as well.

Quick Google research: I think they would have to be paid for 3 weeks, don't think they have to remain on active roster as they can be returned to the PS but would have to clear waivers first.

Give him Bednarik's 60 and he plays LB and TE for the rest of the season.

Speaking of bad weather...I have a cousin who’s a weatherman. He told me a while ago that the computer simulations have changed a bit and that the forecast for the 4:25 window is starting to look better. Sounds like it might rain but not the heavy crap we had against the Bills.

Boooo.

We need the rain.

Any picks for TNF?  Seahawks are _so_very_ overrated.  They are 6-5 and the only quality win they have was against Detroit and that was in week 2.  The only hope the Seahawks have will be that this is a trap game for Dallas and that they are already preoccupied with their game against the Eagles next week.  I don't think that'll happen though.  Dallas 34 - Seattle 17.  Typical Thursday night football snoozer and we can all go to bed by halftime.

I don't believe in trap games personally, you either came prepared to play or you didn't, I don't think Dallas will be looking ahead to next week knowing they have the long week to prepare anyway.

I expect a competitive game, DAL pulls away early to mid 4th qtr. and wins by 10 - 13 points.

31 - 20 DAL only because they have to have a FG in the game somewhere...
