Anyone with a resource website subscription, can you look up the eagles‘ record when Johnson-Kelce-Cox-Graham are all in the starting lineup, alltime?

Cox wont be playing this weekend BTW- he was a no go at Practice today.

I don't believe in trap games personally, you either came prepared to play or you didn't, I don't think Dallas will be looking ahead to next week knowing they have the long week to prepare anyway.

I expect a competitive game, DAL pulls away early to mid 4th qtr. and wins by 10 - 13 points.

31 - 20 DAL only because they have to have a FG in the game somewhere...

I'd sign up for a competitive game tonight.  The Seahawks *could* beat the Cowboys, I just don't see it happening.  I don't understand the Seahawks love.   They are one of a bunch of mediocre teams.   Geno Smith was a nice story last year, but he's fallen back to earth.  Their offense is nothing to scream about, and their defense is nothing to scream about.  Dallas should not struggle here, especially in Dallas.

We'll revisit our predictions after the game.  Anyone else in?

I think you're right, but I feel like I have seen guys miss Wednesday and Thursday but still play if they practice Friday.

Having Milton back will help a ton.

Seahawks are beaten up and Dallas hasn’t lost at home.  As much of the homer in me the Cowboy’s easily win this one.

Tend to think he does clear waivers. Coming off his injury and I’m guessing teams rather get him for a vet minimum then what the contract is even if it’s not bad money wise

Only thing i think seattle has going for it is they have to be desperate. They are 6-5 and with a loss they are hoping rams and packers don’t win this week. Cause they’d lose the tiebreaker to the rams and Vikings. And potentially to the packers. I don’t think they win but I’m guessing they either just get depants or you see them play with desperation and it’s close.

BVS was going to be elevated either way for the game Sunday. I don’t think that prohibits Leonard from signing.

I agree

He can be cut.

Or Penny can be cut or Calcaterra can be put on IR.

I think, but could be wrong, but don't you have to keep a guy on the roster for at least 3 weeks if he's been signed to the active roster?

I believe that is only if he is signed from another team.

We might be better, but the 49ers are healthier and better rested. That matters.

Totally agree. It would be a tough game full strength, but with all these injuries, I think we will come up short this time.

Thursday Morning Predictions Update

31 predictions recorded thus far.  24 for an Eagles win and 7 for a 49ers win.  The Average Predicted Score is an Eagles win by the eerily familiar score of 28-23.

As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  So far over the course of the season 122 different EMB posters have made at least one prediction.

Lets see if we can get to 100 predictions submitted this week!

A list of the predictions is presented below, sorted alphabetically by the name of the predictor.  If you don't see your name there, then I haven't yet recorded a prediction for you.

Eagles 23 - 28 Forty Whiners

Reddick commits a costly personal foul

Bad weather on Sunday, and that will keep things close.  I think that favors the Eagles.  49ers are not battle tested like our Eagles.

Eagles - 27, 49ers - 24

Bonus:

  • Jalen Hurts throws 2+ TDs, rushes for 2+ TDs.

@mattwill

It will be hard to have your Bonus come true without missing an Extra Point.  Is that what you envision?

It's all in your head according to @mattwill

Jalen and the Eagles are getting no hate or disrespect nationally.

Plenty of disrespect, but disrespect is orders of magnitude different than hate.  Gaza is hate.  Vermont is hate

Hello there all! I’m back State side! 😊

You can handpick hate on any public figure on the planet on there. That's all this is.

I think you have to really be looking to find actual "hate" on Hurts as a person.  Criticism of his play is different.  I've seen so many fans from other teams even division rivals who say they hate the Eagles but they respect Hurts and see him as a class person with integrity.  The media talking heads will critique his play (along with the entire team ugly wins and all that) but I've never heard a bad thing about him as a person, leader, character, etc.

Interesting to see MJD oick the Eagles so much this year.  For years he has been very anti-Eagles on NFL Network.

Agreed.  I was musing over the exact same thing.

I personally like the prime time games.  The lights, the anticipation, there are no other games at the same time usually so it's big viewership.  For those of us fans not local, it also makes it easier to see the games.

Shocked if Seattle wins but I'll play because I need substance in advance of Sunday.  28-24 S-eat a D-tle.  Dak with 2 INT (highly doubtful).

I think a big difference from this year’s team to the more dominant team from last year (eye test) is injuries. It just seems like we have been dinged up from week 1, especially on defense. Could be wrong, but it felt like someone was always hurt during a game/week and when that player returned, another one or two would be out the following week. Hard to get into any type of flow when you’re constantly changing players. Wasn’t the team very healthy for long stretches last year? I know injuries are part of the game and others have had their share as well, but if I remember correctly, we were pretty fortunate last year for once..

It is sad that you take any of this seriously.  It is stupid that you refer to those posts by individuals as "from the media"  Your obsession is weird.
