I pretty much gave up on the HFA two weeks ago and fully expect DAL to be the five seed and play any/all playoff games on the road...that said I hope they can end up meeting the Eagles in the NFCCG and not the divisional round. It will be very, very difficult getting past the divisional round in SF but I welcome the challenge. I think it would be a great game and be great for the NFCE to start to dominate again as in years past, yes, many many moons ago 🙂.

Nah we want dallas to go one and done or continue their losing streak in the divisional round.

I never said elite. They are playing like a top 5 unit. Which is likely true. Before last night gave up 0 sacks in the last 3 games. I get opponents werent great but their line has been getting better. I’d argue they are a top 5 unit in the league and at worse top 10. I don’t think they are elite but being a top 5 OL unit in the NFL doesn’t meant elite. Means you are good as i think there’s a lot of bad oline play around the league. I think safe to say they are at least that.

I’d argue cooks isn’t great but he’s also emerged with Ferguson and lamb. At this point having pollard just be competent as a runner with dak not turning the ball over and playing at the level he is all it really takes is lamb, Ferguson, competent pollard and cooks.

Yes. Against teams without a winning record.  Against good teams that isn't enough.  And Dak does turn the ball over against good defenses.

Either way the only player on O who you really have to game plan for is Lamb.  Make Dak look for his 2nd, 3rd and 4th read and hold on to the ball a little longer.

I wonder if the bears wind up finishing top 5 and if Carolina picks holds up to be no. 1 if they don’t draft Harrison jr at 1. Then try to maneuver a trade with their own top five pick with the cardinals (or whoever finishes at 2nd overall) to go up and get someone like Caleb Williams.

I’m almost always in the camp that bulletin board doesn’t matter, especially dumb stuff like the complaints over Nick’s "Beat Dallas” shirt. That said, with all the talking from San Francisco, their cheap shots late in our NFC championship best down and Deebo Samuel doubling down on his "trash” comments, this feels different.

Another position our depth is razor thin and there really isn't any better options out there. Kinda wish we kept Edmunds even though he was trash.

I really think playing 3 games in 11-12 days took it's toll, yes two of those games were against horrible teams, but they are still NFL snaps against professionals. The defensive line looked gassed in the last series and i just knew they would give up a TD on that last drive.

That's SOP in the NFL today.   Until they see that these players can't handle it... they will continue to do this.   They need to put a bye before Thursday Night Football... and this narrative goes away.  Until they do, this is how it will always be for some team.  And its the same for BOTH teams, and in fact was worse for Seattle, as they had to travel between Thursday games.

Seattle was @LA Rams, Home for Thanksgiving, then @Dallas.

Dallas was @Carolina, Home for Thanksgiving, and then home for Seattle.

And Seattle NOW, has to go on the road to SF in their next game, while Dallas gets to stay home for the Eagles.  Seattle got screwed the most by this schedule.

Don't even know what type of knee injury it is. Never appeared to be that serious. Dude just might be soft. Had injury issues in the past.

Solak’s broke it down well. Ignore the Notre dame part of the video. I don’t think it was the same play according to Schwartz but his breakdown of what the Seahawks were trying to accomplish appears pretty spot on.

Good lord bruh .. I'm moving on... F Dallas... F Seattle lol. Play didn't work they got the L. Not surprised. Now we get to hear how great Dallas is for their expected 4 game win streak.

So next week. Leonard in for Evans. Ertz in for Albert O.  Sign me up. Got better right there. Albert O signs on practice squad if he clears.

In fairness what "good” defenses are there in the nfc? Niners are about it. Tbh GB when healthy might be the second best defense in the nfc. Lions aren’t good. Eagles are really struggling in pass defense. Great run defense and pass rush but secondary still has issues. Minnesota is average. Tampa bay, saints and falcons arent stopping SF, eagles or Dallas offense.

We can see what we want about Dak but he and cowboys are not turning the ball over outside of that San Francisco game. 7 games with just 2 turnovers that’s impressive (lamb fumble at the end of the eagles game is kind of bs like the eagles fumble vs. commanders last year when trying to keep last play of game alive). SF they had 4 turnovers means the rest of the 11 games had 6 (and lamb end of game eagles is included. Like i said it’s a BS turnover like eagles fumble vs. commanders when they tried to pitch it to keep the game alive when clock hit 0). hurts is awesome and so is mahomes but even they are having an accumulation of turnovers against inferior opponents and defenses.  besides the jets what good defense have eagles really faced? Buffalo down multiple players, dolphins without Howard and Ramsey and ditto with the jets being without sauce and Reed (granted we were also down lane and jurgens in that game) and yet seemingly we are committing them consistently.

it’s easy to be like oh well just game plan to stop lamb. He is really Fing good. Ferguson is top 10 in tight end yards receiving and receptions and 2nd in td receptions for tight ends. Those are two massively good weapons. I also think pollard has been slowly getting better as he’s getting closer to the year mark with his injury. The reality is cowboys currently have their oline playing their best, dak is playing his best (might be his best year as a pro), lamb has been ridiculous since that niners game and Ferguson has emerged as another legitimate weapon. Does this mean the Cowboys gonna win the NFC in win the Super Bowl? No i don’t think that. but I can at least when I watch them play at home and on offense they are playing their best right now.

Well stated, if there is any silver lining for SEA, and there isn't really, they got hosed. It's that they aren't having to travel west coast to east coast...I hate that flight when I have to do it. Thankfully I am central so it's not bad most of the time.

I can't imagine how that schedule would have impacted the Bills and Eagles if they were in that position after that marathon of a game this past week...

Lol

Also... why are Seattle and SF matching up twice in 3 weeks?   Detroit and Minnesota, twice in the 3 weeks.  Eagles and Giants... twice in 3 weeks.   Eagles and Washington, twice in 4 weeks.

The schedule makers really created a garbage product with how they did this.  Division games ending the season, I understand... but spread them out more so that there's one in September/October, and the other is after Thanksgiving through December.   Bert Bell did a better job doing it on his kitchen table than the computer they are using now.

Imagine the reaction if Ertz came back and they announced him out of the tunnel - would be similar to DJax first game back at the Linc a few years back I would imagine.

DAL ain't winning 4 in a row...2 out of 4 maybe...a BIG maybe. This is why I have accepted the 5 seed...they needed to win one of the SF or PHI games earlier in the season, and not $hit the bed against ARI, freaking ARI man! Then they might of had a chance for HFA, that ship has sailed.

They won 4 in a row after the Eagles beat them. Everyone on this board knew Dallas would win the next four games and everyone would be on their Ds again before the 2nd Eagles game.

Pretty sure he's alluding to their current 4 game winning streak.

Yeh, I think we were discussing this last week. I get the division games being late in the season but they should make it where you finish the season facing each division opponent once. For example PHI would get WAS, NYG, then DAL to finish the year...gotta save the best game for last 😁.

So thoughts on this guys… Last night I’m talking to my brother and I said I wouldn’t trade Hurts for any QB in the league. Not just because of what he does on the field but everything that goes with it. He told me that was extremely arrogant. I mean I don’t think that’s arrogant? It’s an opinion and it’s a debate to be had. I wasn’t dismissive of any other QBs either.

Did your brother say who he would prefer? Fwiw I agree with you. Jalen has ice in his veins and that above all is what makes him so special

My bad...that streak just doesn't register with me, only one competitve game/opponent of those 4 games, sorry about that @judunno

Can thank AI scheduling. Really AI schedule kind of did these gauntlet type of schedules at random times for teams. Eagles have theirs. Dallas has vs. Seahawks, vs. eagles, at bills, at Miami and vs. lions. Niners had vs. Dallas, at cleveland, at Vikings, vs cincy and at jags. Feels like scheduling with the 3 best teams in the nfc and made all there toughest games back to back to back.

Eagles crapped the bed against the Jets who, by all rights, should be a 2-win team.  The advantage is them being an AFC team; the Arizona loss was a killer from a tiebreaker perspective -- as long as the Eagles don't also mail it in against the Cards.

Fair enough.  Still, F' Dallas!
