The Chiefs and Eagles, interestingly, are perfect AFC/NFC analogues.  Each is the defending conference champion, has the most trustworthy and top qb in the conference, has won ugly all year, is regressed from last year, yet sits atop the conference with the best record and is, by default, the best team until proven otherwise.  Neither has imposing blowouts on their resume.

So until proven otherwise, next Monday night is the 2 best teams in the nfl.

Each result went against us. We'll have to do it ourselves.

6-2 gives us the #1 seed. Let's get it.

Most years there’s only about 2-3 top teams and several who looked like contenders early and then fizzle out.

I think the Eagles and Chiefs are in that top tier, followed by the likes of the Ravens, Dolphins, 9ers, and Lions. The others are way too inconsistent and would need to show up against tougher competition.

Cowboys beat the juggernaut 2-7 Giants.  Announcers: "Cowboys slurp slurp slurp, lick lick, slurp swallow"

It’s like week 1 all over again. They destroyed the giants and people immediately were calling the superbowl favorites. Then they fell apart and now they destroy the giants again and people are saying they are back on track for the superbowl.

How the hell did Rivera ever get the nickname "Riverboat Ron”?

He rode on a riverboat once.

Don't look now... but the Eagles and Sixers are both 8-1.

The start to this season feels eerily similar to 2000-2001... maybe even better (even though that team started 10-0).

Maxey dropped 50!    Just so grateful that Morey didn't compound his Harden debacle by trading Maxey in order to get rid of that parasite.

During the early days of the Panthers Cam Newton success Ron Rivera turned their first breakout year by being very aggressive on 4th downs.  Then he stopped doing that and became super conservative for no reason.

SNF in Two weeks will somehow be worse than tonight's game.

Chiefs have not regressed. Well I guess maybe offensively but defensively this is the best they've ever played.

Two of my favorite players.  Tatum’s style of play probably wouldn’t fly today.

They've played some great football over the past 4 weeks. They are 3-1. I don't know about favorites but no one can't say they aren't playign good football especially in a loss to the EAgles where they didn't get destroyed.

I mean, at least at the start of the season the Giants were coming off a season where they won a wild card playoff spot and might have had a QB ascending. It was at least understandable to see it as a statement won at the time.

But at this point we know who the giants are.

He once captained a riverboat on the Mississippi.  You can still find it sitting on the bottom.

Hate to say it but Dallas -16 against that crap team was the easiest money I've ever made.
