Nah

What are your expectations for Leonard? Mine are pretty low. Maybe Cunningham level.

He was frustrated with reduced role and playing time and was going to be made inactive.  I think he'll at least be motivated to prove himself and try to get a 2nd contract for next year.

He will be rusty and need time to learn the new team and defense.  He'll be better than some of the scrubs we have.  Hopefully he helps bring at least some stability with veteran mindset and preparation even if his skills have not been the same.  Maybe a guy like that helps in the meeting room and film study and practice with his knowledge, and if he's like 60% of what he used to be, that's still pretty good for the garbage LB play we've had.

Where did he end up? Browns?

believe he is with the Ravens who have oen of the best defenses lol now i know its not all him.

Interesting that Leonard is going straight to the 53 instead of the PS.

Yep. Ravens.

Why would he go to the PS?

Nah

you think going with Desai was the correct move rather then making Wilson the DC? i know the players were pushing to give him the DC role.

That's usually what happens with in-season veteran additions. Ever since the PS was extended to all players.

Tackling was obviously bad, but Desai did a bad job of protecting his defense's weaknesses. Though this defense may have too many weaknesses to cover up.

Might have been part of the delay in signing...

My expectations are that we will likely be mostly invisible when it comes to making impact plays like Byard and Roby, but both of them made at least one huge play in the Chiefs game.  So hopefully Leonard will be able to come up with at least one big play in this final stretch besides being otherwise just another body there.

If he could play to Cunningham's level then that would be a big win, especially when Cunningham is able to come back.

Seems the axe hasn't fallen yet to make room for Leonard just yet... which is why the Eagles website just says that they have 'agreed to terms', rather than signed.

Who does the Turk meet with?   If I had to guess... its the original freakbeast Ben VanSumeran.  I think Elliss sticks for ST play.

On our drive home from an early dinner with the girls I was telling my wife something and she was texting and not listening. So I tried to grab her attention by saying, "When I phist myself, I do it knuckles first,” which I realize wasn’t that great. She said "How the ‘uk else would you phist yourself?”  Then my 2 year old daughter started screaming "PHIST” in her car seat and is still doing it right now.

I think if we were to sign Ertz that he would produce a lot here. He can single handily change the trajectory of the offense and become a serious redzone threat.

If we sign Ertz, who gets cut? AJ? Smith? Goedert?

If only we had guys on our sideline doing this for Morrow instead of causing fights

I'm late to this whole discussion as I've been avoiding this place (for the most part) since I got home last night. But one thing about that saga that bothered me is that Greenlaw did not leave the 49ers sideline until after the Eagles had run the ensuing play. At that point, Dom had already headed off and was if not in the tunnel then pretty close to it. In my mind, that should be a penalty on the Niners sideline. The Eagles ended up scoring anyway so it's all one gigantic moot point. But players who are kicked out are supposed to leave immediately and not pout on the sidelines until they feel good and ready to go.

I got annoyed by CMAC’s pratfall with Fletch - more so because the ref started yucking it up like ‘oh you, scamp’. Meanwhile, I’m thinking CMAC did that because there’s a chance you are fool that might throw a flag.

Desai has some weird love for Ricks.

I read that he played 5 snaps and gave up 44 yards + TD. Those are some god awful stats

Its one of them. They might also keep BVS and put Elliss on PS and elevate him for ST
