I'm beginning to think scheme is a bigger issue than a lot of people would like to admit. On offense they have an elite OL, but can't run the ball. They have elite pass catchers, but never scheme anyone open.

On defense, they certainly are not getting the most out of the talent they do have. The DL has gone ice cold in terms of production and the secondary is playing like the worst in football when it shouldn't be this bad.

I think the issues go deeper than "Some guys just missed a few plays" especially since the issues seem to be getting worse, at least on defense.

The scheme is definitely a problem. Sirianni takes a players over plays approach and that doesn't always work.

We are going to miss Kelce when he goes to C

Yep

Kelce is a Hall of Fame center.  Odds are, it'll be a long time before the Eagles find another one like him.

Yep. How the hell can they not design plays to get them open more? Why do they not have an outlet or why isn't Hurts able to find them? It's BS. The 49ers always had someone open waiting to run wild with the ball as a 3rd or 4th option. There is no reason Hurts should have to hold the ball that freaking long. It's either bad coaching or bad design.

It feels like every yard is a battle though lately and it shouldn't be that way. There is way too much talent at the skill positions and OL.

Starting to wonder by Hurts body language if neither of the three of them are on the same page, and again after 12 games plus a bye week, that's troubling. Coaching would be my #1 guess though. Every game we start off with 4-5 straight passes.....we don't run unless it's an easy 2nd and 3 or an easy 3rd and 2........no running from under center.

Even though the delayed QB run to win against Buffalo sealed the win, I F'ing hate that play - it is fooling no one and Jalen's knee isn't 100%.

Offensively, we have been a mess........I don't see our offensive staff exposing defenses weaknesses based on the opponent.

It's tough watching other teams play because I see their offensive creativity and I wonder why the hell can't we draw up stuff like that.

How long before we ask our coordinators if they need help? Sirianni has to listen to Johnson's game plan and compare it to how Steichen used to game plan and know in the back of his head whether this guy is improving or not. It's just the reality. Do your job as a HC.

You got a GM sitting up there watching an offense struggle at times with Hurts, Brown, Smith, Swift, Goedert and Julio Jones (i know he is older but the guy knows the WR position).

The Gainwell 2 yard run posted earlier Jurgens blocked no one as well.

He looked like he didn't know if Hurts was keeping it and going off right tackle,  or if he should pull all the way out and block that free guy to his left.  It ended up a run play to the left for Gainwell.  Jurgens ended up just standing there looking around.

He didn't know which way to turn.

I had a small grocery order delivered by a Cowboys fan tonight. He tried to give me crap about us getting help from the refs. I reminded him of the amount of favorable calls Dallas gets at home, and he kind of shut up. Plus, he hates Skip, which I thought was cool.

I hate to say it, but he seemed like a good dude. However, I still thought about lowering his tip. 😂

Don't know why but I still remember the refs saying there was no clear recovery when the pile was all Eagles and we were the ones that came up with the ball. Lots of TVs that day were likely destroyed lol

Yeah, I won't hold anyone to that standard anytime soon whether it's Jurgens or someone else.

Having him back even at 80% is a must to win on Sunday night.

Even with the whiff, had he cut it back a little sooner, there was a hole the size of Alaska.  Had he made that block, the hole would have been the size of Antarctica.

Some perspective

If Jurgens can eventually play at 80-90% of Kelce’s level, we should all be thrilled.

Word is Stoutland and the Eagles absolutely love Jurgens so we'll see if they're right when Kelce retires. I'm not convinced he does after this season, we'll see. If the Eagles win a SB he might, but if not, I could see him coming back for one last try.

Big Red is completely confused by this concept.

No, it's fine you see because every pass we attempt is an extension of the run game

I think "rhythm" might be the most curiously spelled word in the English language.

It’s all Greek to me.

Texans signed Amos. Thought Eagles could have interest with Evans hurt.
