That is all well and good, but years ago I remember hearing about how great Billy McMullen was in practice.

But, if he's so good... why can't he get on the field in the defense?  Its not like the guys ahead of him are lights out right now.  There's opportunity for him to get some action.   Maybe they are afraid of putting him in a nickel spot and losing his confidence and they only think he can handle outside CB right now, and they can't dislodge Slay and Bradberry.  BUT... it is discouraging that we have a guy that could be that good and he's not on the field, meanwhile our defense is scrambling to cover on the back end.   But, so far, Ringo has had EXACTLY ONE defensive snap.  ONE.

Someone... make it make sense.

If I'm not mistaken, his ONE defensive snap was the final Hail Mary play of the game against the Vikings. It wasn't even a regular defensive play.

That tracks.   Sadly, they've not blown a team out so that they could get him on the field.

Key to this game is to attack Bland.

There is a guy that does commercials for Fisher Investments on CNBC that looks like he is a relative of Herman Munster.

What an absolute fun game to watch. Getting snowed in at my parents house while Mom was decorating the house for Christmas, knowing we had no where to go and watching that game was just great.

Name a random Eagle:

Brad Smith. Always loved him and wish he was an Eagle for longer. Also always thought a healthy Chris Polk could have been a very good RB.

Games like that are the reason we should never make excuses because of field conditions.

Nah the field conditions in sb57 were bad considering it was grass. At least they had traction in snow.

Both teams had the same field to play on.  One team looked fine out there - maybe they adjusted their cleats, game planning etc?  Either way, not much of an excuse in my book.

If that was really their strategy, then they grossly miscalculated. There will be no difference in the defense with or without Elliss, but I can see a hit on ST without him.

Been following these Hoagie and Cheesesteak groups on Facebook.  Every morning I wake up to these pics.  Damn, I would be one fat F if I still lived there 😅

I read somewhere that the top schools in NIL have about $20M to play with. I’m not sure if that’s for all sports or just the football program. You never know if an ultra rich donor would step up to the plate and offer $5M to help retain Harrison. Regardless, Will Anderson as the third pick signed a guaranteed contract for $35M. Harrison would be turning down something similar to that and then have to wait an extra year to sign a contract that could be worth $35M per year if he’s the real deal. It just doesn’t make any sense to stay.

Now where I think it makes sense is for  RBs to stay for their senior years or to hit the portal and to collect good paychecks in college rather than go be a fourth-round pick in the NFL. Etienne and Henderson could make a good chunk of change in NIL, then get drafted in a similar range. They aren’t gambling like Harrison because they aren’t getting the potential second contract as him.

Let’s face it, Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) quickly morphed from a way for athletes to profit with using those from a marketing and gaming promotion income into pay star athletes to come to your college with very little use in actual marketing or gaming involved.  I can think of two commercials using college athletes (not Olivia Dunne, who let’s admit isn’t being marketed for her gymnastics ability).  Harrison is a great player but as a marketing value, the $5 million would be a loss. (Using your money to pay Harrison for marketing at a loss and thus a business write off.  Brilliant.  Isn’t our tax code a wonderful fantasy land.)

They protected Albert O and Ben Vansomeone over Elliss.

Albert O has played 6% of the offensive snaps (likely just during Goedert's injury) and just 5 ST snaps.   I know they 'traded' for him, literally giving up the least they could to acquire him.  And haven't featured him at all.  Time to cut bait on him and put him on the PS... but instead they release a guy that's actually contributing.   Brilliant.   (And they do this in a week where the injured TE returns...

I always liked my steaks and hoagies on Amoroso's.  Since I have been following these groups, I hear alot of people down on Amorosos and liking the seeded roll 🤷‍♂️

One of my friends told me to try Cape May peanut butter co. stuff and I think a couple people posted about it here as well. Is it worth the price to have it shipped? I thought about ordering some PB cups and some other foods, but shipping is like $10 and I'm not sure the sizes of the stuff. The worst is when you spend like $50 on an order and you get it and feel like you paid for $15 worth of food.

Was at this game and not prepared for it. The coldest memory of my life. My friend couldn’t handle it and watched the 2nd half in the car.
