Ricks is fine for what you find in UDFA but I think he is more of a fit on the outside if he develops.

I know you love yourself some RAS scores. I dont think they are the end-all, be-all in football but gives an indication of athletic traits and Ricks is just poor athletically but has decent size. That generally isn't the profile for being successful inside. Wile you don't need to be fast; quickness, flexibilty and change of direction are key traits.

someone here likes how Ricks is tall and has long arms, and he thinks that allows him to cover a bigger wr.   That sounds reasonable to me, but he isn't fast or quick.

Slot corners and wrs are generally considered the quick, agile, 3 cone and shuttle ones.

On the offense side, that's Covey.

RAS scores is all that scouting requires.  Everything else is details.

It's too bad the Sparq scores have disappeared from the internet.  Sparq was better.

Good cause and some excellent bourbons.  First prize the 20 year and 23 year Pappy Van Winkle.  But any of the prizes were worth a ticket. Link  https://habitatbg.org/bourbon-to-build-special-2023.html

Ends December 20

Seattle has a really tall lanky boundary corner. He played pretty decent against DAL, probably better in RZ vs longer wide open field. I was impressed with him, I think he is a rookie.

Edit: yeh, he's a 2nd year guy, not a rookie...https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/4245185/tariq-woolen

Eagles 31

Seahawks 26

Bonus: Swift 2 rushing TDs

Is that legit? Good cause and a great prize.

They're not saving or holding anything back. The same way it isn't some master, genius plan to save Penny.

So,  all of the practicing this year was basically just "have star QB throw to the same star receivers as last year"?   The other wrs and tes don't even show up to practices?

I definitely think the Eagles  could and should be holding something back for the playoffs.    The Eagles,  with a 10-3 record, have certainly been effective this year, but it's been boring,  and the stars are tired.   There will be some all pros or pro bowlers due in part to the fact that there are so many targets going to a small number of players.

Not calling you idiotic but that idea is. Hiding or holding back plays throughout the season for in case they make it to the playoffs is mind boggling. They needed to get to the playoffs first

and they will,  easily.   and when you're going with an extremely generic star to star offense,  they could be practicing something interesting.

sometimes you know you're going to be able to get to the playoffs,   but that you need more to win in the playoffs.

I will be disappointed if I don't see fresh content in the playoffs.

i knew I'd seen the Drake logo somewhere before

And this made me laugh

The cuts are going deep in Chargerland

yeah, tariq woolen.  very fast and also tall.   some people were at least a little pissed that the Eagles didn't get him last year.  Or maybe it was Ravens fans.  I think he was a 4th rounder.

When was the last 'Big Play' Darius has made?

Miami game. Before that, week 1.

Hindsight. We didn't know we'd have this record. Holding back throughout a season is an absolutely horrible idea

What the heck do you think is their "master plan” that they’re holding back for the playoffs? Is Quez Watkins going to go off for 10 catches, 220 yards, and 2TDs? Is Julio Jones going to turn into his 2015 self? Are they going to give Swift 30 carries? This notion that they’re somehow only utilizing 50% of their playbook and willingly putting the #1 seed and home field at risk is STUPID.

It’s just who this team is. Inconsistent with a vanilla schemed offense.

The Eagles haven't been holding anything back.  They were 10-1 and cruising until they played SF on short rest and lost in DAL, where they seldom have won over the past 5-10 years.  They're now in a position where they need to win out, so adjustments will be key finishing off the regular season -- hopefully with the ability to beat weaker teams and get to a 14-3 record.  That could get them the NFC #1 seed.

The offense needs to score more early and more often, and that will in itself fix some of the defense.  The defense is a mid-tier group; they're not going to be holding anyone to single-digits.  Scoring 30+ needs to be the norm.

Im surprised that after this many days, the over-reaction sky is falling attitude hasnt worn off even a bit yet.

The gameplan and philosophy going forward should be to grind it out on offense.  Long drives, short yardage if necessary.  Just keep the ball in the offenses hands for as long as possible so the defense stays off the field.

I wouldn't care if they ran for 3 yards every play or did dump offs for 3-5 yard or Hurts keepers for 3-5 yards every play.

Just do everything you can to keep the defense off the field.

Must have been Alshon or Agholor.

Come to think of it, did the Eagles ever sign Jackson to that 1-day contract?  He probably used the day to complain to Gunn after finding out the Eagles wouldn't pay him for an injury settlement based on 1 day of employment.

It was Albert O.  He's hoping this helps him get some targets.
