I sincerely hope you are right!

Do you have a score prediction to go with all that optimism?

I have only done one prediction all year, but we're on a 2 game slide so superstition be damned.

Eagles:  27

Seahawks: 17

We just saw in Chicago that a defensive HC doesn't have his hands in the defense the same way a DC does, so I'm not sure what to make of Patricia's HC tenure in terms of his DC skills.

My biggest concern with the defense is the DL. Sweat said it best, they're not rushing as a team. If Patricia at bare minimum can get that fixed, this defense will look 10 times better.

If the Eagles don't run the ball well to keep that Seattle offense of the field I'm going to be pissed. I just watched a 190lb soak and wet Cook run all over Dallas smh.

The DL this season has not played to the same level as last year.  Davis does not play the same style as Hargrave, who attacks and pressured the QB.  Davis is more a run stopper and not much an attack guy.  Carter is somewhat better as a rusher, but his production has not impressed.  Williams contributes but not the same as Hargrave.  Tui is the last DT gets snaps, with limited results.  Cox as the senior player and is still making plays.  That alone tells you how well the DL has been doing.

Any word on whether Hurts' bout of the hershey squirts has passed?

Seems very normal to me.

So Ringo starts then?

why would the Eagles go pass heavy if Mariota is the QB?

At any point throughout the season have we played situational football?

This coaching staff is beyond inept, every game plan is the equivalent of forcing square peg into round hole, I don't see that changing tonight.

Freaking gold.

It’s not true. I heard that joke twenty something years ago.

Sweat is one to talk.  I hear they had to roam the streets after the Dallas game to get him back on the plane after he overran the play and ended up outside the stadium.

The vikings game, where they ran the ball was a good game plan well executed.

Not sure what happened after that game?

They were so dominant running the ball and its not like minnny has a trash D.

Eagles owned both trenches in that game and for whatever stupid reason have gotten further and further away from that game plan.

If Drew Lock is starting at QB, there are no excuses for the Eagles tonight.  No way should SEA put up more than 14 points.

That or a bad stomach virus. I'm guessing the later.

Besides the #1 seed giving us a bye, we could get a week off the last game of the season. If the Cowboys lose next week and we win our next 3, we will can rest our starters the last week of the season. Both lines could use that.

There's a bad stomach bug going around so he was probably vomiting.

Only problem would be if the 49ers also win, they likely flex their game into the same slot as ours week 18. So do you rest the starters and concede the #1 seed, or try to win and hope the 49ers lose?
