Usually the backup in Philly is the guy everyone wants. MM is so bad he's the first I can remember where people are like F that play the 3rd string.

I'd much rather watch McKee. 100%

I saw MM throw one pass and I was stunned because it was out and downfield in 1.5 seconds - is that part of this offense… and you know for sure he’s going RO like crazy. I could handle one game like that… Chippa fever dream.

just get him to hand it off every play?

And cook. Both were the reason. Allen just didn’t do anything to F it up

Ok, agree, but a practice squad rookie could’ve ran for miles against that crap that was on the field yesterday. I don’t think Deuce Vaughn could’ve, but any other PS running back in the league.

Given that cautious optimism, do you want to venture forth a game score prediction?

Eagles - 17
Seahawks - 19

Game ends on a missed Jake Elliot FG.

That would be heartbreaking

Doesn't help the one time the Eagles won the Super Bowl was against their current defensive coordinator who was a former Lions head coach that was fired.

Well, if we beat the Browns in the Super Bowl...it all comes full circle!

Looks like he did.

What was it

My understanding is getting a punt return at all should be considered a win.

Imagine the ball being spread around to targets with accuracy and anticipation. That would be something.

I just saw a chart of the Defensive Numbers since Week 8.   Let's just say it was not pretty at all.  Offense has bailed the team out many weeks looking back.  I think the Patricia move is a situation of "It's not getting better, might as well try something different while there's still some regular season games left before the playoffs".

Does anyone else think Slay doesn’t play another snap for the Eagles again?

The Eagles and Covey are second in the league in yards and YPR. Best to turn your sarcasm elsewhere. Lord knows there are some deserving candidates.

@mattwill

Eagles 24, Seahawks 16.

Bonus: we get at least four sacks.

I think it was directed at the defense's ability to induce a punt from the opposition.

Good.  That was F'n terrible.

It LOOKED ugly, but in all honesty it was bang bang. Pittman laid out as much as humanly possible and Kazee arrived at nearly the same time. Slow motion makes everything look worse. If Kazee doesn't crouch he has Pittman diving full speed in to his crotch/knees. Kazee 100% has had some questionable hits throughout the year and that probably was taken in to account with the suspension but I don't think he really could have done much else here. Just an unfortunate body position for Pittman to be in as he made himself completely vulnerable going all out.

Did you even read what I wrote? The last three games we've had 3 total PR's because we can't get off the field and make a third down stop on defense. No where did I say anything about Covey, at all. So yes, if we can manage to get a punt return at all, I'll consider that a win.

Devito being nearly sacked 30 times in 5 starts is impressive he has been sacked 35 times including the times he came in as the backup
