Hopefully Fritz is his replacement.  Marks just always whined too much for my likes.  Signing Devon Givens would also be a great choice.

 

There has to be more to this story though, I don't buy it that he left to spend more time with family.  He worked a 4 hour radio show, what other job is he going to have that gives him more time?  I'm sure crossing broad will dig into it and find the truth.

There isn't more to the story he kept signing one year contracts every year and they wanted a commitment from him and he had been contemplating leaving for a while now.

I respect Jack Fritz' baseball commentary though.   He knows his stuff.  I don't always agree with him, but he's not the standard rube on the radio.

He was able to talk but when talking baseball strategy he had absolutely no clue when Jack and i went back and forth.

If nothing more significant than Patricia having a different player eval, that's interesting for today. Ringo playing, Garner called up probably for ST. I'll be interested to see how much Brown and Smith play. He's stuck with the Fangio-base for the D. That's too bad. If one thing has played out this year, Miami, and so on, it is that Fangio's system is pretty flawed.
