I didn't include myself. I don't need to have experienced it myself to understand why this the rigid, dogmatic, overbearing approach is counter-productive. It's absolutely the reason why the number of Christians becoming atheists absolutely dwarfs the number of atheists becoming Christians. The trend accelerates with each passing generation precisely because of people like you. Stop being so judgemental, stop being so bitter and hateful, stop taking certain biblical passages so literally while selectively ignoring others. I'm raising my kids in the faith (my youngest has her first communion next month) but I'm also cautioning them against the fundamentalism that people like you have helplessly fallen prey to. I'm going to make sure that they understand religion is something to be taken with moderation, and that faith is far more about believing in something bigger than themselves rather than the stories written in a book from thousands of years ago. Above all, that the most important thing they can learn from religion is that they should treat others as they would want to be treated, which is to say with kindness and compassion.
