That was one of the excuses laid out for Wentz.  Time will tell, obviously, but the salary cap is stressed with a QB that is playing very mediocre right now 

Maybe Mariota might have played better and took what the D gave him and not play hero bowl.

For the first time this year I’m excited about the Eagles chances this season. That’s the best I’ve seen the defense play in over a decade. I still believe the offense will come around.

I am not pining this loss on Bradberry alone,  but man, he has been a liability all season.  He makes that play and we are not talking about this stinging loss.

 

 

So fraudulent. Whenever hurts scrambles, nobody on offense moves. They just stand there where they were. We’re still running wr screens and look surprised as it gets negative yards. I call all the eagles plays with 95% accuracy in the red zone. It’s so Fing predictable. 
 

and what haven’t we learned about Quez that we didn’t already know? He’s Fing weak. Passes thrown to him will always be a Fing disaster because he’s not a pro wr. He’s a Fing track star who knows how to put his helmet and line up. That’s it. He’s trash. 
 

and hurts ain’t doing enough. He’s just not. He’ll make a good pass then follow it up with a misread. Sometimes he reads the field. Sometimes he plays buddy-ball. Sometimes he throws the ball deep to give his guy a shot. Sometimes he doesn’t even give a guy a chance. F ALL THAT crap!! READ THE FIELD AND THROW TO THE OPEN MAN OR MISMATCH!!

Well even if Kelce.retires. hopefully Lane comes back. Apart from a backup tight end there is no immediate need. The back 7 of the D needs a whole lot of help. Keep cunningham and Reed and get rid of all other starters.

I'll say thins much, intelligence is lacking on the offensive side of the ball, I mean really, 95% of the passes go to 2 receivers, can't they see this is a detriment to the team?  Teams know that and it's easy to defend.

We need to stop paying quarterbacks big contracts. Just draft a qb, let them play out their rookie cintract, let them walk, rinse and repeat.

Tough loss.  The D played so much better till the last drive.  They pressed all 3 WRs on the first 3rd down of the night, brought LBs up to the line, brought the back 7 closer so they could challenge throws.  Much improved.  The bad play calling and play design on offense lost this game.  Where are the easy short passes?  Why can't we design an effective screen pass?  BJ is next to go

Funny, they thought Patricia would make a difference, one day they'll figure out it's the players that Howie chose that's the problem, when you find a problem you get rid of it.

I like how people think we’re overacting about this team. The truth is they were never that good. 10 wins hides a lot of flaws until it doesn’t.

Throwing out the LBs every year is a bad plan.  We downgraded that position big time last offseason.
