I guess I've warmed up a bit in the Pickett trade after the initial annoyance. Saves a solid chunk of money on back up QB if they don't think McKee is ready. They've won 9 and 10 games per year with him starting with worse overall supporting offensive cast. I'm not banking on "upside" of a first round pick but if I view it as a backup only I guess it could be worse.

Plus it annoys RTK which is a bonus

They haven't won 9 and 10 games with Pickett starting.  They went 7-5 with Pickett both years.  2-3 without him starting in 2022 and 3-2 in 2033.  In 24 starts he has thrown 13 TDs and 13 interceptions.  Just brutal.

Missed this one. Why are DBs always so weird?

Cause they cover the WRs... who are divas.

The truth is, 23 is being held for Rashaad Penny's triumphant return.

Do you have your gifs saved somewhere? Always spot on.

I can't get over the use of "I myself." Like who else is I?

I am I.  Who are you?

That's the only way this makes sense. They have to think McKee is a lost cause.

Or, like they always have, the eagles prioritize the QB position and want as much talent there as possible.

This really isn’t that deep. We had a chance to get a 1st round talent at QB on a cheap 2 year contract for a 4th round pick. It’s just great value with upside which improves your depth at the most important position in the sport for a negligible salary and moderate draft compensation.

99 problems but an Eagle ain't one of them

I enjoy the word play with her exotic name.

A dirty Kink

A. Kink

Kink, A

Ok, so does anyone know how much money we saved with the Sweat contract?

They are programmed not to answer that question... at least the ones that plan to one day take over the world.

A Kenny Pickett’s worth plus some

Clearly they really value the position which explains why they signed Marcus Mariota as our backup last year.

  He's the exception that proves the rule.  Well, him and Vince Young...  and Clayton Thorson...

Ask Jason_OTC. I bet he knows

You’re right WGB!

Clearly the eagles don’t care about QB. Nothing in their history for the past quarter century under Lurie would indicate an emphasis on QB.

Brilliant take!

Him and Vince Young were both former first round picks with starting experience and tons of athletic talent.

Low risk, high upside additions. These aren’t exceptions. They literally prove the rule.

Jokes on the internet should be taken very seriously.

Why would I want that? Because Pickett is god awful and I would want the better QB (McKee) to be the #2 in case we need the backup to play.

Lol. People really overvalue McKee’s preseason.  Pickett had good preseasons too.

Weird cause he’s referring to Kobe in the present tense?

I feel better about Pickett than I did Young.   But, as @we_gotta_believe said... don't take jokes too seriously.
