I think the Eagles need a CB very badly and would absolutely love Mitchell or Arnold in the first round. That said, I don't know if the Eagles would or even if they should trade up for one of those guys. They're good prospects, but not Patrick Surtain or Sauce Gardner level prospects, and I'm just not sure it would be worth sacrificing one of those 2nd rounders. That's one of the reasons I hated that Pickett trade. That would've been a nice pick to move up with. Maybe the pick they got at 120 isn't all that less valuable, so who knows. But they only have 8 picks and not sure I want to give up one to move up unless something crazy happens like Joe Alt falls to 15/16 or something.

But damn I would love to have Mitchell or Arnold. Just not enough to give up a 2nd for. That's why I hope they pull off a CB trade before the draft. Makes that desperation for CB less pressing.

I don’t see any CB out of the top 4 or 5 prospects who’s that much better than the rest.  Wiggins and McInstry are not a big drop off from Mitchell.  Arnold is really grabby; not sure I’d even want him.

Folks can say what they want about the different organizations... but none does big events right better than the PHILLIES.  Bringing Charlie out for the second first pitch... that was a perfect move.    They just get it.

 

Lurie should be taking notes.  Just like when they closed out the Vet,the Phillies did it right... while the Eagles embarrassed themselves.   Same with the opening of their new stadiums.  The Eagles have gotten better, but still trail behind immensely.

Worked for me early on this morning. Then crashed for several hours. Came back briefly, crashed again for a bit, and now it's back.
