Phillies released their city connect jerseys and then an earthquake happened. Clearly it’s a sign that they need to be burned and scrapped

I've always liked the blue and yellow combo, as in the St. Louis Blues and Buffalo Sabres jerseys, Swedish national hockey team, etc. -- if they're done right.  If anything, the Phillies jerseys might have wimped out on the yellow but that was the way to go if you're going to err.

All in all, I'd put them in the top 10 of City Connect unis I've seen so far.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

I had a dream that Marvin Harrison Jr and Brock Bowers were both on the board at 22 and Howie joined the boards and posted a poll asking who the Eagles should take and said he’d draft who wins the poll and you fools voted for Brock Bowers and I was like nooooo.

Hilarious 😂

I love Bowers, but would never pick him over MHJ

You may want drink different  beer or smoke better weed before bed so you don't have nightmares.

@Texas Eagle tldr video summary- each of them chose 1 player to put in each category. Their picks are below.

Best Hands Catchers- Rome Odunze (Harmon), Pearsall (EJ), Malik Washington (Kollmann)

Best Deep Threats- Brian Thomas Jr (Harmon), Javon Baker (Kollmann), Odunze (EJ)

Best YAC- Nabers (Harmon), Josh Cephus (EJ), Corley (Kollmann)

Favorite NFL Comps- AD Mitchel = George Pickens (Harmon), Tajh Washington = Taylor Gabriel (Kollmann), Xavier Worthy = Johnny Knox (EJ)

Most Misunderstood- Ladd McConkey (Harmon), Ainias Smith (EJ), Leggette (Kollmann)

Role Dependent WRs- Keon Coleman (Harmon), Malik Nabers (Kollmann), Jacob Cowing (EJ)

Scariest for Defensive Coordinators- Marvin Harrison (Harmon), Malik Nabers (EJ), Didnt hear Kollmann give one.

Very interesting note from Kollmann- the turf at Lucas Oil when he was on it for the combine, is old, and is very compact. Its hard and almost like running on a real track. Saw fast times this year. Of course, Worthy broke the record.

Something to consider when you hear scouts adding time at pro days because some schools have faster tracks... Apparently the combine has become a pretty fast track.

Lucas Oil is switching out the surface this summer.  Could be a 50/50 turf/grass hybrid as that is what the NFL is pushing for these days.

I don’t love them. I also don’t hate them. I do like blue and yellow combo together. That said i do wish they’d have tied the city connect back to the first title team in the 1980 championship team. Did something like a maroon pinstripe with the current Phillies logo that’s on the front of their normal jerseys. But changed the Phillies logo from red to powder blue.

Im just getting started on this one and probably wont finish it in this sitting. Its gonna be good because its not just a top 5 or top 10, its top 20 edge rushers. There will be guys discussed that we dont hear much about.

I think he's suspended 2 years because he bet on his own team.

I read 1 year and he put in for his reinstatement in February.

I'm curious what they meant by this?  Legette and Smith are interesting prospects to say the least

I don't understand the font. Feels like they are trying to be the Philadelphia Kraken

Someone on Twitter had an explanation of the font used. Something about the font was found in a lot of historical documents or something of that nature

There is just so much I don't understand with all these specialty jerseys.   Frankly, it annoys me.   It annoyed me when Oregon started doing it constantly... (Nike's fault) and I am even more annoyed by it now that it has spread to all the different sports.   And it makes me never want to buy anything from Nike ever again.  Nothing like ignoring your traditions (baseball more than any other sport) and make your team look completely unrecognizable regularly.    You used to be able to see old game footage of your team and you'd be able to tell in an instant who they were playing in those highlights based on the uniform's appearance.  Each team was rather unique in their own ways.   But now... you have a dozen teams (or more) in the NFL alone that have all black uniforms at times.   And for what reason?   To stand out?   No, to follow the trend.   Money grab after money grab by all these leagues and by Nike/Fanatics, etc.   And they new ones almost always look like garbage.   No thanks.

McConkey because people just comp to an Edelman or Amendola and he can so so much more.

Leggette because of the 1 year of production

Smith because he played RB but EJ was saying adamantly he is a WR. Provided some stats and stuff to show how legit he is as a WR and dont be fooled like he is just a guy who can do a little of this and a little of that. Also said he almost put him in the best hands category.

it almost looks like the font is supposed to be pieces of paper. The jaggedness looks like tattered and torn edges of an old document, and the texturing inside of the letters almost looks like the writing on the document.

The jerseys that franchise deserves.

after hours and hours of video over the last day or so some of the guys who sound like some of the biggest dawgs in this draft, or some of the guys whos stories have been really persuasive, would be...

Newton- absolutely elite prospect. Ridiculously under-appreciated right now.

Mason McCormock and Khyree Jackskon. dawgs Get them on this team.

Taylor-Demerson versatility at the S position with coverage ability and good size, still tackles well.

Description of Javon Solomon almost reminds me exactly of Huff with his size, and explosiveness (although the athletic testing doesnt show the explosiveness for Solomon)

Out of all the players discussed in all of the videos I have been posting, these guys really stand out the most to me.

The hat is cool.

I understand the reason for the colors, but they have nothing to do with the Phillies, so I'm on the fence on that.  I don't love it.

A jersey that just says 'PHILLY" is really dumb.  Could you think of nothing that had to do with the city of Philadelphia other than the name "Philly?"  I mean, a giant cheesesteak would be an improvement?

Jackson will be 25 before his rookie season starts. Yikes.

It feels like Howie might make a move for a guy like Bowers if he were to slide and be available in the teens.  He makes sense.  Goedert has been injury prone, and he's nearing the end of his rookie deal.  Still, I think it's gonna be an edge rusher at 22.  Laiatu Latu is a guy that might be there around that point, and they've already had a top-30 visit with him.

I've made up my mind. Kool-Aid or bust in the 1st

Ridley was reinstated early March after he was suspended for the same thing. Players report in 10 days, you would think the NFL would give the team that information if their player would be reinstated before the programs start.

I know Rogers was suspended before the NFL had put more rules and timelines in place, but the current suspension term for betting on your own team is 2 years. I don't see why he wouldn't serve that time.
