It's been long enough since they were burned by Jones but I don't know if you'd draft a CB that high and sit him unless he's injured (let's not do that again)

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

It doesn't seem to be a deep TE draft.  I think there is plenty of WR talent into the third round.

Yeah I'm good grabbing TE and RB in the fifth. WR earlier than that.

While I'd like to see us go CB in round 1 if DeJean, Wiggins or Kool-Aid are there, I'm becoming more and more convinced we are going OL. The CB room is already crowded. Here's how I see it:

Roster locks: Slay and Ringo -- 0.0% chance either gets cut

Damn near lock: Rodgers

2 Slots are going to make it: Maddox, McPhearson or Hall - 2 will make it. If we drafted someone who could play the slot, then they could slip in here.

So that's 5, and we haven't dealt with special teams, where Jobe is important. Bradberry, Ricks, Garner...how many CBs are we keeping? 6? 7?

Yup... I'm getting the we're fine there vibes as well. Especially considering CJGJ can slip in the slot from time to time. As per tradition OL or DL in the first. Wouldn't mind a guy like Max Melton in the second if they can get their hands on him. But Howie surprised everyone getting Saquon so maybe this is the year for him to be out of character and finally draft a CB in the first.

Cloud cover is going to save a lot of people from going blind today. Don't look up 😎

Where is the thread to complain about Jalen Hurts?

Or is that every thread?

He's horrible.

I had a lot of cloud cover at times, but fortunately, I was able to get a good look when we had maximum coverage in my location.

So much misinformation about eclipses out there.   The sun is not more intense during an eclipse.   Quite the opposite, actually... which is why it is dangerous.   Normally it is extremely painful to look at the sun, but as the sun is blocked by the moon it is far less intense, so it doesn't hurt nearly as much.   So, people will extend their gaze and that's when the issues happen.   So, looking up momentarily isn't a big deal.

Can we bring back Nick Foles?

I always wanted the future to be Dillard at LT with Mailata at RT.  But Lane kept it going longer and better than I expected and Dillard ended up sucking.

Many may dismiss your suggestion, but it’s worth a thought experiment.

Mailata is not an all world pass protector.  He’s more of a prototypical RT.

I don't expect it to happen, but it's a certainly an option that is on the table, if the right player is there.  If the team are wanting the BPA, then it's not off the cards

Plus the moon isn't real, right @EagleVA?

What misinformation?  It was a joke. Don't be a downer because your powers didn't activate.

We’ve used 2 in the last 6 drafts and 3 in the last 9.

Davis, Carter, Smith…our last three 1’s.

Theo Johnson would be an interesting Day 3 target at TE.  Big guy, 6'6 and 259 lbs, I hear conflicting reports on his blocking ability but he has the physical tools.  Tested at the Combine almost exactly as Jimmy Graham.

If you read his backstory it'll definitely make you cheer for him.

Correct. Everyone could use 15 mins of sun gazing per day. My friend Aaron told me that.

Matt Murdock told me the same thing.

I've been meaning to get to the moon because I really like cheese.  The sun seems too far to go, though.

Where are the Khristian Boyd and Jonah Elliss workout numbers from today?

Go in the winter when we're closer. I'd also advise going at night when it's cooler.

Of course it's real, but, concerning the eclipse, did you know that all sorts of instruments have tried to verify that it's the Moon blocking the Sun and they haven't been able to do so.

The Moon should be exactly in front of the Sun but it can't be detected, absolutely nothing is there, it's like the Sun is eating itself.
