Yup.

All the black-on-black uniforms are the worst in the NFL. Saints, Ravens, Cardinals…

ugly as sin

They aren't bad but they just aren't better than the Kelly Green's and should not be taking away from one of their uses.  With the new 3rd alternative helmet rule I would instead like them to go into an entirely different direction if anything with it's own unique helmet/uniform design and color scheme.

Maybe something really cool like Brown, yellow and white like a real Bald Eagle.

I just began looking at the draft class experience since there are so many old prospects this year. I randomly starter at OG and I got all the way to the 20th ranked guard where found the first true junior.

Now, tackles are different. There are a bunch of juniors, red-shirt juniors, even a few redshirt sophomores.

One guy who caught my eye was Blake Fisher. The other OT prospect from ND in this draft. He plays RT and he just turned 21 in March. He is 6'6''' with long arms and big hands. Im not sure he has quite enough athleticism for us. But hes pretty darn good and has a lot of time to improve.

Im just not quite sure he belongs on an eagles big board. I think Im gonna leave him off. What do you guys think?

I think he’s an intriguing developmental tackle. Love that he just turned 21 and has LT/RT experience. Sounds like he might be a little too finesse.

@TEW

I’m not saying we should take him at 22, but I’m starting to warm up to Kingsley as a trade down option. I tend to think he’s going to go at the end of round 1 though so not sure how far we’d be able to move back.

I really like how he gets off one block on a run to get to another. He’s a little late on his punch here and there but yeah, he’s definitely worth a look. Can he run? No worse than an udfa but may also be worth a late pick. Being the "other guy” at tackle probably gets him overlooked but he’s just a kid.

He’s probably going day 2 from the sounds of it.

All the talk leading up to the game was no in the media thought he was going to actually play and if he did he wasn't going to be anything other than decoy.  He was 5-6 weeks removed from having surgery to insert screws into his broken leg.  Reports out of practice the week leading into the Super Bowl made it sound like there was no way he was going to be able to be an impact player in the Super Bowl.  And then he went out and was the best player on the field for either team while obviously nowhere close to healthy.

Great on McNabb doing that against a 5-11 Cardinals game.  I find TO's performance in the biggest game of their careers against the greatest dynasty and defensive coach the league has ever seen a little bit more impressive though.

The Super Bowl was 7 weeks after the injury. He had over 6 weeks after the surgery. He was not exactly limping around out there. He was healed. Now, was he 100% healed in that you wouldn't worry about the injury recurring? I believe he proved he was. I understand doctors having doubts about a player returning that soon. McNabb missed 6 games after the injury. You can argue that he had an extra week from the 1st round bye (for a total of 7 weeks), but he was ready to practice before that. I'm not sure why Owens' return was any different. Both players returned form basically the same injury in the same amount of time. The timeline for that injury (to heal) is (6-8 weeks). Obviously, you'd like to give the player the full 8 weeks, but it is possible to return in 6. In Owens' case, there was only 1 game left to play. If he rushed his return and reaggravated the injury, he would have had ample time to recover before the next season. The risk wasn't equal to the hype about how "amazing" his return was, IMO.

For those who think this draft is top-heavy and not very deep, there is a possibility the Eagles could package picks #50 and 53 and jump back into the first round — perhaps make back-to-back picks at #22 and 23.

I would just take him at 22. Don’t risk losing him.

He’s going to be really, really good.

Two huge "what ifs" for me. What if Mike Vick was an Eagle from day 1 and what if T.O. didn't go bats%#@ crazy and stayed with the Eagles? T.O. was on his way to Eagles legend. Still one of my favorite Eagles memories was when the Eagles torched the Packers with Westbrook and T.O. The Linc was just electric whenever he touched the ball. Loved the T.O. song!

That Packers game is the one game I went to in 2004.  Eagles 10-1 but all the talk all week is how the Packers with Favre are looking like the better team and then the Eagles just lay 35-0 on them in the first half.  Just a total statement game and the NFC was in complete ownership of the Eagles from thereon out the rest of the season.

Westbrook was so special.  I still put him above McCoy as the best in the franchise history.  If he doesn't get injured in the meaningless final regular season game against the Redskins in 2003 they probably make the Super Bowl that year.  Really from his breakout year in 2003 onward he was the driving force of the offense but never was it more clear than during 2006-2008 when it was rotating door of above average QB play by guys who really weren't much at QB at those stages in their career and a period of transition trying to find a WR to replace TO that they didn't finally hit on until 2008 with DeSean.  During that period that was Westbrook.  The almost NFC Title Game run in 2006 with Garcia and the almost Super Bowl run in 2008 was all Westbrook as the driving force of the offense completely in that era.  By 2009 he was in his last good year with it being clear that rookie Shady McCoy was the very clear future at that spot on the team and McCoy should be getting more touches.  Especially when Shady had his first start against the Bears on MNF or SNF and basically won the game for them with his performance.

TO was having an even better year in 2005 than he was in 2004.  Reid and the organization put their biscuits in the the wrong basket with McNabb over TO.  He is the second best WR in league history, at worst 3rd best WR in league history and not only did he have his best season here to help get the team over the hump and put up an all time Super Bowl performance on one leg but he has always been vocal about his time spent in Philadelphia on the Eagles was his favorite of his career.

He deserves an induction into the Eagles Hall of Fame.

Yup. The Eagles are absolutely going to put a guy they suspended for half a season and then cut into the Eagles hall of fame. Makes sense.

I've been to 3 games, two of them were just talked about in this thread. This game, and the Cardinals game when McNabb broke his ankle. Third game was the BDawk game against the Texans.

Seeing those highlights makes me scratch my head as to why this coaching staff can't get creative in throwing to the RB.

1:00 is huge. All the games that matter for the 6ers, including their own,  start at 1.

I will be at an ice skating birthday party at the penguins practice facility. Friggin hockey...

I remember watching a Giants game on vacation with my dad and almost turning it off thinking it was over until he took a punt back. Shame he hurt his elbow vs Washington at the end of that one year.

You should demand they move the event. Sixers are simply more important than Hockey.

That should come with Moore.  It is a staple of his offense.  I think Gainwell having a bit of the yips catching the ball in TC got Johnson off of that but towards the end of the year, it was starting to show up more and will show Moore (pun intended) this year as Barkley is a pretty decent receiver out of the backfield.  I do think it is interesting the Eagles have shown interest in two WRs that showed some RB tendencies in college this year (Washington and Ainias Smith).
