Hunt seems like a Fangio inspired pick.  Looks like a very athletic Edge who shouldn’t have issues dropping back into coverage when needed.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

He’s not a pure pass rusher. Just say you don’t know who he is so he must suck and move on.

Sorry I didn't catch many Houston Christian games last year. I meant to but I had to do laundry.

If Reed is called "Ghost", will Cooper be called "Casper"?

Nah. Ghost & Milk.

Jeremiah said he was told Hunt was one of Fangio’s favorite players and he really wanted to coach him.

Makes sense as he’s an edge who can actually drop back to cover.

6.5 sacks against linemen who are now selling cars. Howies first mistake. Wilson was there. But once again no. We take a project.

This guy may work his way on to the field as a coverage LB believe it or not at his size. He will take time to develop more rush moves other than just speed rushes. But he might find other ways to contribute sooner than later.

No one better get hurt on offense

Jalyx is a good prospect that needs a full year in an NFL weight room. That's why he fell.

Well, he's not playing ahead of Huff/Smith/Sweat/Graham, etc. He's in the perfect spot for him.

We are really really relying on Smith

Meh

Actually you thinking that gives me hope.

yep. I said a few times during the reddick stuff that if Fangio wants an edge who can cover this would be THE guy to take.

He's a converted safety! He can move.

There's legitimate impact upside here.

OK, Howie, you had your moment.

Try someone other than Wilson to be upset about. They just said the man is literally missing an ACL and had a botched shoulder surgery.

This pick scream Bryan Smith and davion Taylor.

Feel like howie let some solid guys get by him, hopefully he gets some good prospects with the additional picks from the trade down

At least jaylex has some size and isnt a circus midget

Based on?

My opinion watching him play and the fact that the Eagles don't seem very high on him. Sirianni didn't even mention his name when talking about players in the mix for the right guard spot. I'll change my opinion on him if/when he earns it. As of now, no reason to have any confidence in him whatsoever at the position and it's a spot in massive need of an upgrade.

Maybe. My point is there was a LB capable of starting year one on the board. Why go for a project?

Surprised to hear Wilson doesn’t have an ACL in that bad knee?  How’s that even possible?

Daniel Jeremiah said that this was a Fangio favorite in the draft.  "Couldn't wait to coach him."

Small price to pay to keep your DC happy.

That guy looks way taller than 6’4. He’s towering over Dlinemen

Playing against DIV 5 players that are like 5'9

I get that not everyone deep dives into the draft…but Hunt has a VERY high ceiling, and a very low floor. He’s an athletic freak who can not only rush, but cover to the boundary. 3 year safety who converted to EDGE. He’s not a day 1 starter by any means but I’m excited what a year in a pro program can do for him.

He could be missing both ACLs and would still be a better pick than this random jobber.

Also, nice to see the 3rd round brings back the most miserable looking woman ever to announce the picks.

Love this pick. Some see Bryan Smith. I see another Josh Sweat-esque swing.

What the hell is Houston Christian University? You take dudes from schools like that in the 7th

Depends on the guy and how clued in others are to him.

He played at the same level of football as Mississippi Valley State.    Sometimes you have to throw the dart and hope for the best.
