  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Because he'll never get the top job on the OL so long as Stout is here and because working with Stout for a while is the best credential an OL coach can get. He's got to move out to move up.

Hes not moving up though, it’s a lateral move. He’s also no spring chicken at 55 and has experience elsewhere. This doesn’t seem like a career growth move to me.

Lots of possible reasons...  he's only been with the Eagles for 5 years.   Maybe he wants new network connections.  Maybe there's a reason he wants to be in Cleveland, on a personal level.    Lots of possible explanations.

It's interesting, but not a major disruption for the Eagles' coaching staff, IMO.

Eagles should hire Bieniemy and get two revenge tours.

Kork, Morris, House gone and 4 2nd round picks. For Buddy and some buyout players.

Not sure we have much left to offer for anything significant, hopefully the buyout market pays out.

They still have that first they got in the Harden trade.    Doubtful they will use it, rather than hold on to it, but its still an asset they control.

Agree, not a major disruption. Just kind of out of nowhere. 5 years is kind of long for an assistant position coach. Plus he survived a coaching overhaul from Doug to Nick so they clearly liked him.

Wow, talk about under pressure. 6 seconds isn't a long time to make a deal.

Nicolas cage is impressed as his was 60 seconds

Will be interesting to see how he does as PGC under Kingsbury.

Well he can’t stay healthy

False. I stated the facts that would pool together to make him a leading MVP candidate. You starting going on about how rushing touchdowns don’t count lmao.

Not with those home/road splits.

He was solid at home and comically bad on the road all season.

She is much more attractive than I originally thought.

She’s not bad looking as long as she isn’t giving a toothy smile.

My thoughts exactly.

@judunno one guy who I will not be making a thread for is Braelon Trice. He gets most of his sack production on coverage sacks, cleaning up off other pressures when the QB steps up in the pocket, and the occasional stunt. Theres not a lot of Trice just winning outright against his OT.

Hes a strong player, and may be like a Vinny Curry type in the NFL, but even Curry had more burst off the line. Trice looks pretty limited athletically.

Ourlad strikes again :D This draft just seems blah. A lot of the players are older due to red shirting and maybe even hit their ceilings.

Making room for Kelce to be an assistant coach/player.

I remember when the Eagles signed Morrow last March my first thought was "who?”  Really underwhelming signing that was the definition of digging through the clearance bin at the position.  Cannot have that again next season.  Have to bring in a FA with a proven track record, who isn’t over 35 years old.

Dean should be guaranteed nothing.  He’s shown very little as of yet.  Start over at the position.

I agree Dean is a 3rd round pick fighting for a spot.  I think he played well enough when he's started. He just has not stayed health.  He can't be relied upon as a starter.  I don't think they will priortize LB in free agency.  I am not sure there's really a best FA LB that will be on the market.  Patrick Queen is the closest but I don't think he's a dominant sideline to sideline LB.  He's been up and down in Baltimore.  He had a good season last year but was playing next to Roquan Smith. He's not going to have that with the Eagles. I think the best case signing for the Eagles at FA LB will be someone like Josey Jewell.  In fairness, the Eagles would be better off spending more money for a FA CB or S than LB this offseason.
