Well, that's when you need a QB who isn't a robot. Winning covers a lot but it's as simple as his teammates have an issue with it and brought it to him. That's enough for it to be an issue.

A couple teammates did. Other teammates have said Jalen's a good leader. Maybe not every teammate agrees with Cox, who is on the defense btw. And sometimes this stuff comes out when losing and gets magnified unnecessarily. It was a historic collapse, where almost everyone is to blame. To focus only on Hurts "emotions" in reaction to it, is a narrow view. I'm more pissed the head coach did nothing to change things. I'm more pissed the O line did a bad job at times and Hurts was running for his life. Brian Johnson (or Siri, or both) had a terrible scheme, play design and play calling that set the entire offense up for failure. There's no backup TE that can catch a pass. Defenses knew what the offense was doing. The coaches did nothing about the blitz. There were a lot of problems. Hurts being stoic on the sidelines instead of being "emotional" with the players was low on the list of problems.

Love how he starts his answer.

If we can draft him in the 3rd round, that would be awesome

I really like Quinyon Mitchell, but Eagles might have to trade up to get him & I'm not sure they will

The way you express it is similar to how a 13-15 year old would express it.  A total embarrassment.

You don't understand. It's ok. You'll find a lady/man to pop your cherry one day

Don’t worry, I can eventually update it. Had to take in some of the net rankings this year and computer rankings. Gonna have a new region called the Taylor Swift region.

Don't forget about @Alphagrand and I this time

You're a completely unserious person and a total embarrassment to yourself.

Thanks. Go clean your QB1 fat head

So what have I missed? I get away from the NFL stuff for a couple of days and all I’m hearing is the outlook with the team is really not good.

Based on what?

They hired 2 experienced coordinators - which everyone wanted them to do. They hired some new position coaches that are experienced including with coordinator experience, which is what fans wanted. They've signed some roster bubble/camp body guys as usual which likely won't make the team.

Free agency starts next month then the draft. There's nothing else football related to worry about yet. There's gossip and speculation from hacks and unnamed sources, and Fletcher Cox wants Hurts to be more vocal.

So?

Looking back it's insane how people acted about her when she was barely shown

Confused by this move.

Hurts played amazing in the Super Bowl. The defense gave up 2 WIDE OPEN touchdowns. Hurts had the fumble that turned into 6, yes that sucked. Other than that, he played great. The team lost by only 3 points to a team that is the current NFL dynasty with a legendary head coach and the best QB in the league. Hurts would have easily been MVP had they won. To say he can't win a SB is absolutely ridiculous.

It took the worst second half defensive Super Bowl performance in NFL history to stop Hurts from winning the SB. People seem to have been super willing to smack around Gannon for it, and rightfully so, but conveniently forget this when talking about Jalen Hurts.

Yep.  Like I said, results matter.  BTW, their defensive ranking in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 were all top 10.  By your logic, our defenses were also stacked?  Talent has to translate to wins, not stats, in my estimation.  Others may see stats as the measuring stick.  Again, not denying the Eagles have talent, and at least two great players (Kelce and Johnson) but maybe just not as talented as I thought across the board.

But I get it, you don't agree.

I don't agree but what you're saying doesn't make any sense at all. You're saying that an offense that was top 10 for 3 years, is mediocre. The fact that they were top 10 literally means they were not mediocre. You can't just pick wins as a sole measuring stick, just like you can't solely rely on stats to judge a player.

You're literally saying if an offense scored 50 points in a game for 16 games but the defense gave up 55 then that offense would be mediocre. Do you not understand how dumb that sounds

They had Slit Film turf before, which is also kinda disliked from what I understand.

NFL and their owners must be getting some kickback from these terrible artificial turf companies.  Makes no sense how the players clearly prefer natural grass and MetLife is even putting in natural grass for just soccer but the NFL keeps going back to this crap.

Good we need someone to be inactive every game

This is a fairly confusing move.
