I don't expect the Eagles to sign a guard in free agency, at least not a pricey one, but Scherff is pretty good, not sure how much he'd cost.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

WIP read a report from somewhere, didn't hear where, that listed the Eagles as a potential Barkley suitor. I doubt it happens, and I don't think I'd want it to. If they were to splurge at RB I'd rather it be Jacobs. He looked like he has more left in the tank watching him in 2023.

No to both.

Adams sucks, but maybe Diggs can still play.

Hell no to Adams.

I could see them doing Diggs as a band aid and to pair him up with his buddy Slay

Quandre Diggs is still good. Adams is toast.

Yeah, he’s not moving like Kelce or Jurgens. Not even close.

But Poe might if he can snap.  I have no expectations but may be fun to watch.  He is an Opeta like project.  Two years on PSs but played college at Mercer so pretty raw when he came in the league.  His first year in college, he was a FB and runs like one.

Forgot about the Seattle connection.

Still can't believe one of the greatest Eagles ever retired yesterday

The free agent class really is meh after all the tags. Thankfully it's pretty good at the position the Eagles need most arguably, which is safety. Tons of options. Should also be able to fill RB in free agency too so they don't need to waste a pick there.

Hurst has fooled quite a few teams over the years.

Never trust a ginger :nonono:

Any interest in a late round trade for Benjamin St-Juste?

I wish the Eagles could draft half as well as Baltimore and Dallas. Here we are arguing if 3rd round picks should be considered starters and the Ravens 3rd rounder is getting the Franchise Tag.

Don’t know when we hit it but TATE is at 1 million posts on the new board.

On the flip side, they were dumb to not extend him before his one breakout season.

Scherff to finish his career at RG here doesn't sound terrible. Otherwise maybe the apple of Stoutland's eye in Fautanu in round 2? I could see that. But I really want to go defense on day 1 and 2, with an outside shot of WR in round 2 if someone is sitting there too good to be true.

Too early to predict what holes will be filled in free agency. I want BPA and in this draft, that may well be two OL in the first two days.  Draft is to build the team with an eye towards the future.

They had 8 3rd round picks in 3 years, 2 of them have become starters… one of them is worth anything.

I do wish we did a little better.

Oh we’re paying Jamaal Adams to play in 5 games per season

Jones was drafted to start once he was healthy IIRC. I remember people saying he would have gone in the 1st if not for the injury

He ended up being a bust for us

Jones should be a lesson in body types.  Just couldn’t add weight or muscle.  Could mirror but no physicality.  Remember with Kelly the measuring of ankles.  May be something to that sort of understanding.

Walter has the eagles taking

Lassiter

McConkey, Bullard

no 3rd rounder

Tykee Smith

Weird draft.

3 of the first 4 picks are secondary. Lassiter in round 1 is early although I think he can be as good as any CB.

Bullard is a CB/S who might be a nickel, which we dont need to be drafting in round 2. With Tykee Smith did we take 2 safeties?

I dont really know what to make of it.

That is the laziest mock draft ever...just 4 Georgia Bulldogs.
