Oh for sure. I’d be 100% surprised if Jason and Travis aren’t a part of it. I’d have said Embiid but i think the Sixers are away that weekend

I don't think Travis will be involved.  He shouldn't be anyway.

They better hope Justin Fields pans out, because if he doesn’t, they’re just gonna use all those picks to have to go out and get their quarterback a year from now.

CHI could trade from #1 to 2 and it would be a smart move.  None of those top 3 teams should be trading out of the top 3, though.  Imagine trying to sell to your fan base that you’re not in the QB market because you’re sticking with Fields, Howell, or Mac Jones.  It would be the height of malpractice.

I agree on moving from 1 to 2 especially if they aren’t in love with Caleb Williams. That id get. Cash in on picks and then get the Qb you do love. However what that tweet sounded like was they weren’t getting offers they believed they would for Justin fields so they are pivoting back to him. Maybe the tweet meant they pivoted out of 1 and back to 2 or 3 to stockpile more picks as they aren’t getting as much as they thought from the fields trade

Fields will be traded for much less than you think.

Chicago isn’t running it back with him.

So, drafting Mikey is not out of the question?

Out of the question?  Of course not.  BUT, it would be bad value.  Then again, if he can actually play here, that would be much better than most DBs selected by this organization over the last 20 years.

No. Only thing I’d trade for Sneed is Reddick and I’m not even sure that makes sense

You would give the Chiefs Reddick? My lord. They are dynasty bound as it is.

Swift is good, but he's not RB1 with real starter money good. And I don't want another season of the Gainwell/Swift pairing.

RBs don't get much money these days

Yup.  He’s a failed starting QB.  His market is a 3rd round pick at best

Lots of moves going on already and I'm shocked it hasn't been said...

Howie is asleep at the wheel!!!

Random point right now but I’d say Isaiah Rodgers should be on the Nasty Nate watch list.

Easily, the way some talk about him you'd think he was a rising star in Indy, and then you look at his numbers and it's like 'am I looking at the wrong guy? Is that it?'

James Bradberry last year was flat awful and allowed a completion percentage of 59.4 and a passer rating of 114.3, Rodgers in his busiest year starting 9 games in Indy in 2022, allowed a completion percentage of 58.6 and a passer rating of 113, and that completion percentage allowed is the best of the 3 years he took snaps in.

@ManuManu is that you in there?

Just watching that Lane workout video.  Is this the first off-season in a while for him where he has not been facing corrective surgery or other issues in general?

TIL Jordan Matthews is somehow still in the NFL. He played a game at TE last year for the Panthers

Lol. I saw the post and did a double take. I thought maybe I pulled an Ace Nova and drunk posted.

Yeah that tweet makes sense now as community notes called the dude out for being troll

Don’t see the eagles getting him. I’m sure they had interest in him last year at the right price which he was likely still getting more than they’d have been willing to pay him

That's kind of what he was in Indy --- a rising star. BTW, his busiest year was 2021 (he played more snaps, allowed a completion percentage of 63.1 and a passer rating of 78.1. In 2022 he played fewer snaps but wasn't targeted as much per snap. It's not like we signed a proven stud last year, but we did add an experienced, young, improving player to compete for a roster spot at no investment risk. He also adds good return skills which may be useful if Boston Scott isn't brought back and the new kickoff rule goes into effect.

I wonder if Kelce would come back mid season if there were to be an injury to jurgens and eagles are top of the standings..

he’s said he plans to lose at least 40 lbs, and he’s already started

Today is the Illinois pro day.

Apparently JerZahn Newton is still not going to be competing as he recovers from injury.

I will have an eye out for a sleeper WR I like- Casey Washington.

He looks like a solid WR with solid athleticism and solid size. Just solid all around. Nice later round pick. Doesnt light the world on fire, but just looks reliable, and athletic enough.

Id like to see him prove 4.4 speed. Anywhere in the 4.4s is ok with me for what he is. And hopefully do well in the other drills.

Tip Reiman popped at the combine. Not sure how much he will do at the pro day. He would probably be wise to stand on his combine numbers.

Yea, O-linemen just isn’t a position that can retire and come back on a drop of a hat unless he was staying in game shape which wouldn’t make sense if he retired. He can start eating a normal diet and lose a ton of weight easily to help his body.

Yep. And he doesn’t have any reason to come back. He’s finishing while playing his best. He has a bunch of other things off the field he can do now and be super good and successful at. Like we make fun of Jason peters, but I can least understand from the perspective when he’s done with football he probably doesn’t have the post NFL career that Jason Kelce does. so if somebody’s willing to keep paying him to keep paying then he’s gonna keep doing it to cash until He can’t anymore. Not that peters won’t have some success outside of football when he’s done but it’s not like what kelce has set up for himself after football
