Texans that low on Pierce all of a sudden?

Was really bad last year. Frankly i felt it was more that line wasn’t good early in the season cause they had a rash of injuries.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

BARKLEY FOR THREE YEARS UP TO 46 MILLION?

Terrible, terrible move.

I'm pleased.  Seems a couple million a year much, but i I don't care at all

Hurts is going to run anyway, it's in his DNA.

The Eagles are clowns when it comes to rotating backs. They need to make damn well sure he's the primary guy.

I was trying to find the data but how many of the Hurts runs were called runs vs scrambles? I know they called 40 QB sneaks. The other 110, I'm not sure the split but I do know the called Hurts runs need to seriously decline.

If he isn't the primary back and they still try to work Gainwell in there for long stretches at a time, it's the worst contract ever.

Everyones trolling today

We need a 1-2 punch to pair with Barkley and it's not Gainwell.  Is Dalvin Cook available?

Saquon behind this OL could be different. 1700+ or bust.

This OL may be good enough to make it not the case, but the concern with Barkley aside from injuries, is that he is just a larger CJ Spiller. 0 yards, 1 yard, maybe 2 yards all game long, and then a 60 yarder to help the YPC average.

Go sixers!

In an ideal world, yes.

The Eagles love to rotate those backs though. Hopefully Moore puts the end to that.

With that kind of investment I don’t foresee us being forced into complaining that Gainwell is getting more touches than Saquon

I know he had a down year. Wasnt he injured or something? I think hes still good based on his rookie year I dont think hes lost it all already.

And then sign a 27 year old back that gets injured

He played 14 games last year and 16 the year before. He’s not actually injury prone despite the narrative.

This is my biggest concern outside of health. They cannot bring him in to have him only have 14 touches a game.

Hopefully we never see the QB draws in the Redzone ever again.

That's because the Giants OL stinks monkey balls

I think he got banged up but their OL had like 4 guys hurt early in the year. No one looked good running behind them til later in the year they got healthy and they went to singletary

I still want a tough in between the tackles RB to pair up with Saquan

Can someone explain the fascination with Barkley from fans and the media? Is it the draft position? The guy is oft injured and his numbers have been crap 3 of the last 4 years. I just don't get it. If we were getting rookie Saquon, then OK.

He basically had 5 sprained ankles, the ACL/MCL, a stinger he played through and a grade 1 hammy, both college and the NFL. Only one of the ankle injuries and his ACL have cost him time.  Eagles have remade their running back room.  I do worry about his contract cost but the injury is overblown.

@pacoI really haven't thought about it outside of RB...Henry...get him for two years, maybe three. Seeing how the RB market is looking though I think DAL will try to go LB in FA and draft a RT in the 1st, RB in the 2nd, and then get a C later.  IDK man...really kind of down on DAL right now. They just cannot get out of their own way.

I'm definitely not sold on paying Dak long term either...but they kind of have to in order to get a decent roster signed this year...if they were to wait they have tons of cap room after this year (97m in '25, 189m in '26, and 269m in '27) ...I almost wish they would let him play out his last year (and the team suck) in '24 and move on.

Whatever they do I will support them, just tired of all the failures and "next year" bs. There is no reason to have so many post-season failures with the rosters they have had in the last 7-8 years, maybe not a SB, but at least a NFCCG appearance.

The mid 80's sucked, the late 90's and early 00's sucked, but i am about as down as I have ever been on DAL right now, "all in" my a$$, Jerry just needs to stay quiet and deliver. It brings an older jam that I loved as a youngster to mind...

why do some of you keep thinking that games played is a good stat to combat the injury prone label?

When Barkley plays 60% of his games played at about 40% of his ability hes still injury prone and slowed down by injury whether he missed the game or not.

Curious... when he got hurt those couple of years was it on that trash home field of the Jersey Giants?

Let's go! McKinney
