Correct, but how long are they going to be able to ask for ridiculous money for these ‘exclusive’ things?  That’s what I think will happen.  The NFL certainly isn’t hurting at all.

I already had YoutubeTV. Everyone should. But the unfortunate thing is that they had to increase the price for everyone (regular non-sunday ticket subscribers) just to try to bring the ticket down to a somewhat more reasonable price for people who wanted it.

I already have Prime. Not so much for the TV, but I enjoy Reacher. And maybe have enjoyed like 2 other shows on there in all the years we have had it.

Also have netflix.

Not signing up for any more streams. Otherwise, itll be more expensive than the cable we already got rid of. Defeats the purpose.

if he goes to OC? I thought it did. Is it only from coordinator to HC that gets you the picks?

He’s clearly not taking this seriously. Time to sell the team.

Doesn't matter.   He has to be hired to a HC position, not a coordinator spot.

The product is definitely hurting... the economics of it haven't caught up yet.

Yeah, who knows, fragmentation always sucks for fans who like consuming as much football as possible but this isn't new either. Prior to TNF and Sunday Ticket, fans could only watch a max of 5 games a week (3 on Sunday afternoon, SNF, and MNF). Then Sunday Ticket came along and gave the option to watch any amount of games for a hefty price. Then TNF gave us the ability to watch a 6th game if you had NFLN as part of your cable package. That was eventually sold to Amazon a few years back, which was also right around the time MNF moved off OTA to ESPN only (although this year, it was simulcast on ABC for some reason.)

I hate to say it but don’t we have to go dline again? The pass rush just ain’t it in the least.

Need DEs. Not a great DE draft but if the right one happens to be there at any point on draft weekend, its certainly a need. Hopefully can find a mid-round diamond in the rough like a YaYa Diaby.

Was hoping they drafted that guy RAS off the charts. :)

Why is Lurie flying all over the place this week?

All of these comments year after year of people always throwing out "yeah for the vet minimum" or "yeah for less money". These veterans while sure are not what they used to be but these guys are not going to come back and say yeah I helped bring a super bowl here, and was a valuable leader, I'll take half pay. It's just not going to happen. Than they will go somewhere else and we are right back to depth issues. I'm talking specifically BG, Cox and Kelce. That doesn't set a good vibe to young guys or free agents coming here that there hard work and leadership doesn't gain them some type of respect with the front office.

ESPN had SNF when it started.   Back in the 1980s/early 1990s, while MNF was still on ABC, CBS and NBC had the Sunday afternoon games.   ESPN got into the scene with Sunday Night Football.  I forget the guy who did play by play, but would remember him if I saw his face... along side Joe Theismann, IIRC.

Then Fox jumped in stealing the NFC package from CBS. So, CBS stole the AFC from NBC.  And for a couple years, NBC didn't have games.   Then NBC decided to get back into the NFL and took over SNF, and ABC backed out and let ESPN have MNF (They are both owned by Disney).

The reason ABC simulcast ESPN's NFL coverage is that paying to air extra content is expensive and so they decided to save some money on content and just get some eyeballs for MNF for the antenna crowd.

there’s some good players in FA. I have a feeling they’ll bring someone in during FA to help with depth and someone during the draft.

Still think the eagles make a splash in free agency. With bradberry likely being a post June 1st cut and eagles had interest in jaylon Johnson i tend to think that’s the guy they target (assuming the bears don’t franchise tag him)

No more DL. It’s time to invest in the back 7 so the DL doesn’t need to dominate to win games. They’ve drafted so many young DL they need to play to see what they’re made of. And if it turns out they can’t cut it, then oh well, at least you know because you played them. But you drafted them for a reason.

Awards season

I think GB offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich would be worth talking to if we move on from Sirianni. I don’t recall if he’s the playcaller there or if LaFleur does it. Maybe we can offer him a ton of money and playcalling duties to come here as OC. Seems he’s done a great job with a really young offense. As weird as it is, Rodgers might have been holding them back last year with his smartest guy in the room bit.

Big news @bpac55

Yup. No drafting any DL until RD5 at the earliest.

You actually need bodies at DE though. Not saying 1st rounders to try to make more dominant pass rush. But they literally have no bodies to play the position. It is an undeniable need.
