Plus 26 years old that insane Rodgers didn’t even get his first start until he was what 25-26… Baker Mayfield struggled finally seems to have found his footing possibly in TB the weapons hell as well. Geno was a late bloomer had some good years for Seattle even if he wasn’t great.

Never really know what to expect from QBs anymore but have learned not to completely right guys off something might finally click for them lol

I mean jets and panthers weren’t all that great of teams let’s be honest lol…. Really no excuse for him if he can’t make Minnesota work though with those weapons

Agreed,it's showtime for him. Risky by the Vikes,we shall see

Really liked the move for the Vikings low risk paid him nothing can still look nice up and draft a guy think I’ve heard McCarthy linked to them. Can let McCarthy sit and learn a year get adjusted to the NFL etc.

1) Pickett is the 2,where else would the competition be except for #3???? You keep saying :just get me the best players" yet when I lay it out it's not good enough. Like to see you post a mock. A round FIVE QB is something you need to worry about?? I'm not selecting one in round 2 here and he is the LAST round 5 pick. yes I liked what I saw from McKee,but it was so limited there is no real reason to know unless he gets into a real game during the season which is unlikely. Maybe Milton is better and one goes away? Or both work out and we have a trade piece??? But with the last 5 pick it's not worth the risk??? Please post a mock covering all picks not just "I like this guy". I'd like to see it. 2) whatever 3) Why can't we get a TE AND a slot WR? Is there some rule bout that? Again post your mock. Where do you take a D lineman. If you do that's fine but you're giving up talent in the back 7 and this is a great draft for that.A round 5 DL is going to make an impact? No different that a round 5 QB,except that QB's are worth more in a trade if they work out. Tell me where "later" is for your D line pick. How much later? GOod CB,S and LB class here,it's a good time to grab a couple. Find more DL guys in FA if that suits you

If McKee and Milton both work out,we have our #2 and #3 going forward after the 2 year is up for Pickett. Then there is no need for yet another FA QB,we can spend that pick elsewhere. It's not that risky taking a QB in round 5. We've made worse picks than that

Jets need to move up and get a future one. Nobody knows how long Arod will play. McCarthy would require a huge move up for the Vikes

Slay looked like he is losing a step,he did at the end of the year. Now whether that was part of the collapse or he is getting old remains to be seen. He's not going to last forever and if he is losing a step he may need replaced. Not hoping that happens, but we need to be prepared

And I’m not fond of Bradberry still hope we move him before the season and we have an opening for slot CB..All season why i would prioritize CBs over S early in the draft.

That is a possibility for sure. Would not bother me to take 2,this is a good class for the back 7

Think it would be tough to keep both guys even if we drafted a someone like Milton.

Especially if they played well in PS showed off some talent. Since at best only 1 would make the 53 which would mean we have to sneak one on PS and hope they don’t get poached for two years while we had Pickett

Just saying if you take a CB you are giving up something else, but really ANY top picks at the back  are needed. Some position will have to be back burner, choosing which that is is hard to do. Nice WR's in round 4,plenty of those

On the PS you can designate I think a few players that if a team wants to poach them the existing team gets first shot before they can. Of course that would be a decision they would have to make then. The issue is and has always been that Howie wont draft the back 7 high, but he needs to do it

We have drafted a few guys high under Howie Eric Rowe is the name that comes to mind first obviously didn’t pan out for us…. Just invested a 3rd last year in Brown at S.

Might not spend a 1st on a CB but definitely could see us getting a CB in rounds 2 or 3 maybe back to back

I will try some other mocks with a higher CB and another with a DL guy since linemen are Howies favs, but he needs to get some young guns in the back in this draft

He picked Jones in that one draft. he was hurt but a good value. But he never worked out really and Howie is gun shy again

I'm really high on Wilson at LB. He's going to be a good one

Like a plethora of other G's(guards I keep forgetting I have to spell it out for you). Dillard is really nothing special. I didn't like the pick when it was made

Neither did I like the pick. But not letting that cloud my judgement now. Now he’s just sitting out there waiting to be signed on the cye

I’m not beating any tables for us to sign Dillard. But seemed like his best spot was to move to RG.

OK try this mock because it looks like a Howie type draft   1-22-Byron Murphy-DL-Texas   2-50-Cooper Beebe-IOL-Kansas St.2-53-TJ Tampa-CB-Iowa St(I like this kid) 3-97-Cade Stover-TE-OSU 5-161-Beau Brade-S-Maryland 5-171-Curtis Jacobs-LB-PSU 5-172-Ainias Smith-SLOT WR-Texas A&M(like this kid too and he is the TOP slot WR-needs to have a good pro day since he could not compete at the combine 6-211-Cody Schrader-RB-Missouri

Let him sit,we don't need players who do the minimum to get by

SF losing draft pick and having to move down in a round due to accounting " errors"  regarding salary cap.

Lol.   They has a nice run.

Nothing enough to keep them from still being in our way

Looking like QB's will go 1-4,with Marvin Harrison at 5,moves alot of excellent players down to us. Knowing Howie I still think its a lineman. I still have powers as the 22 pick(IOL Oregon). Some like Verse from FL st(edge)

Doubt four straight QBs
