A post-June 1 release would allow the Falcons to spread out the dead money with $40MM in 2025 and $25MM in 2026. A trade, even for minimal draft compensation, would be the most efficient option; the Falcons could transfer Cousins’ $27.5MM fully guaranteed base salary in 2025 to the acquiring team while accepting the remaining $37.5MM of his prorated signing bonus as a dead cap hit.

But Gannon must be on much more solid footing than would be assumed.

Micah Parsons came out attempting to preach his loyalty to the Cowboys.

So, I would rather just be in the best situation, you know? At that point, I don’t think there’s a big difference between $30 million and $40 million in my eyes, you know?” said Parsons on December 9, per Archer. "At the end of the day, whatever it takes for me just to continue to be a Cowboy until I retire, that’s what I want,” he continued.

Hilarious really. He’s stating his team loyalty and devotion to the cowboys equates to him not chasing 40 mil all out. So he tries to position himself as wanting a team friendly contract….but straight says that means he’ll sign between 30 and 40 mil.

So team friendly….just top money contract….he’ll take that from Jerruh…only because he’s so die hard cowboys.

He gets 21.5 mil next season fully guaranteed on the fifth year option currently

Looking like we’ll have the easiest SOS this season of any of the playoff teams.

This guy from Kentucky interests me. Deon  Walker 6’6” 345 pounds DT

Deone Walker consistently wins with heavy hands at the snap as a pass rusher -- both long and powerful, which makes him a nightmare no matter where he lines up (and Kentucky used him everywhere). He will play too high at times against the run, but was more consistent in that area in 2023, so he's certainly capable of dominating in the run game, too. Plus, you don't find many guys this size this athletic.

Kenneth Grant is a really good athlete for his size -- and he has a knack for getting his hands up in the passing lane and knocking the ball down. He moves well laterally, as he has a surprisingly quick first step with good hand usage to shoot gaps and be disruptive in the backfield. For me, he's more explosive and consistent than Kris Jenkins, his former teammate and Bengals second-round pick in 2024.

Draft scout from one source

Maybe move on to him instead of investing in Davis long term.

The Michigan TE looks big time. He should be an option late first

Saying he’s a pass rusher right away. But has all the reason to believe he can develop the run stuffing.

AMEN!

Holy smokes Cunningham, soooo many posts. What do you do for a living that allows so much time to post so much?

Looking like a strong draft class first two days in the trenches. At this point at least a bunch of options. Haven’t broken everybody down in actual quality individually myself yet.

I’m a very busy dude. But work for myself helps.
