First up is Jurgens, then Dean...the guys on the last year of their deals. They get done First. Then the decision on Baun. Davis, he has a deadline on whether they will exercise the 5th year option. I wouldn't exercise it. I'd look to extend him on a mediocre level. Otherwise he plays year 4... and go from there.

Was thinking he’s probably worth more to us….being a factor beside Carter actually. Creating that environment Carter needs to be surrounded by. Not disappointing at all... he does his job well. But I'm looking at it from an Eagles fan perspective.... not a guy with a stick up his arse for the safety in Baltimore that was drafted after him. I'm just not overpaying because Carter gets the big money. He is the generational player... Davis has his role and not sure he would get the money in free agency. So I offer the modest contract that provides security when he signs it before going into year 4.

Milton goes into free agency... see what he gets and then decide. I believe he will be overpaid by someone. Similar to Hargrave.

I’m old….kid is on his own….taxpaying citizen…but I don’t have much time to dedicate here. Work is too busy. So I was curious what you do as you really do post a LOT here almost every day. I think the team has surpassed all our expectations this year. It’s been fun….so far. I sure hope they can keep it going.

He hasn’t been above average for over half a season for us…until this season. I need to see if he’s a player that will ever be effective at the end …in the clutch.
December 20, 20241 yr But it’s not even close to cut and dry with a player like Davis. He has the upside still I’d say. Which usually isn’t what you pay guys so much for. But Nose work is a grown mans job. Really grizzled old vets still great options in the league.
December 20, 20241 yr But following the rules how does an agent fairly workout a contract for his client to remain?

December 20, 20241 yr 11 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: That’s the holdout Dak payday approach Nah...that's the reality... the owner made him wait, then you make him pay. He takes care of you early and you put that huge signing bonus in the bank...and the thing you always miss...the next contract can get redone sooner....with those factors, you can take a lesser annual value... when the owner makes you wait...you make him pay. If they make Parsons wait, he will get over 40 mil per.
