This is conversation we have had... you think the players would wait for the top #.  I say the players want the signing bonus early,because they get paid more and can redo the next contract early.   Regardless of showing a higher per year #, you never catch up with the real money put in your pocket by waiting.

He’s a superstar….but has to be handled correctly. We had the perfect situation for him to thrive. Just need to keep him on the right path.

He’s been disappointing. Was thinking his conditioning and effectiveness down the stretch here would speak volumes towards his pay. Was thinking he’s probably worth more to us….being a factor beside Carter actually. Creating that environment Carter needs to be surrounded by.

So what you offering Davis? Milton? Almost really more difficult to figure out agreeing to contracts with these guys than the max stars.
