Pickett went in...with the game plan for Hurts.  Who if you watched, had a couple nice designed runs.  

If you have any football IQ at all...you know 💯 that they can't scrap the game plan and change all the plays for Pickett.  He ran similar stuff...you could see them struggle on certain run plays designed with the QB running as an option.

You also saw him have success on the stuff you see the pocket passers do.

33 points should have won it.  Forget even the Smith drop. 

There are reasons certain plays work and certain plays don't with different players.

Because you are used to the read option running QB offense... to the point you don't remember anything else 

Get under center and play from there.

My thoughts are being emotional is a weakness.... the emotional side of you wants Hurts to stay in... the logical side should realize he needed to come out.

Interesting it’s we might be on QB3 for the Dallas game though… Hurts dealing with concussion, Pickett apparently got a rib injury. So McKee might end up being the guy I know many thought he should have won the QB2 battle in camp

Disclaimer. I am not a Pickett fan. That being said,he put up 25 points as a BU which proves that Hurts is nothing special,he just has more experience in this offense. I was quite shocked at how the D played. very poorly and if we can't fix that we aren't going far in the playoffs

The league cannot allow that. If they feel he is concussed and they let him play and he gets hurt for life,they will be sued into enternity. The NFLPA agreed to the decisions made

Why I press for 31 PPG(AVERAGE) because that wins games if your D is any good at all. Like golf,you will be a multi millionaire if you just shoot par every contest

I would love to see him. Different offense would be needed,the kind Moore brings

Even with Hurts out I have an 8 point lead in fantasy. he has his kicker and an obscure WR in. Going down to the wire. he even messaged me "DAMN,your QB goes down and you are STILL beating me" LOL

Some things can be gleaned from this debacle 1) The surrounding cast can make any QB look good 2) The defense is apparently not being game planned for well by Fangio as we played them before and they figured out how to beat us and Fangio had no answers, We had a nice lead and let this MF get away from us as we lost CONTROL of the game management

I still can't understand WHY on 3rd and 10 or 4h and 10 you put players 12 yards out. I guess they are hoping they can react for 5 yards to stop them but wouldn't it make sense to put them 10 yards out??? or ( or whatever???

Yes.... get CGJ ejected and have a QB that can scramble..   plus start every drive on your own 40 or better.

It wins most games IF you have a defense as I said. If your defense is any good they can limit other teams to LESS than 31,but if you look no team hits 31 PPG average. it is a GOAL to shoot for
