I was impressed with McKees poise considering he hadn't had an NFL snap. He throws a nice ball but it doesn't have the zip that most QBs do

Then I remembered it was the Cowboys

I’d honestly disagree wouldn’t want to have Hurts sit for two weeks without taking a snap in actual games then go in to the playoffs.

Id much rather see Hurts play a couple series before benching all the starters

Yeah...the guy who got a concussion...isn't going to play in a meaningless game.

Eagles fans seem to be pretty well split between Saquan chasing the record or not. 56 percent in favor of him playing currently on the fan poll.

What if the fan pole was about the whole team playing?   Wonder how that would change if they realized having him run behind backups and the Giants knowing exactly why he was in there... maybe the #s change.

When anyone thinks of the best rushing season of all time in the NFL, who do you think of

For me,it's OJ. Until someone breaks his record in 14 games.

They are going to add an 18th game soon.  Another RB will come and beat the record.  Nobody will think any less of Barkley.

We complained about an early week 5 bye week... now it right there to take advantage of a meaningless game to get the rest after 11 straight weeks...then another 4 needed to play.

Do we really want to go 15 straight weeks of playing right to the NFC title game,or get that rest now?

Why is it even a thought?   When they went to commercial when CGJ went down with the injury late in the game yesterday... didn't that bother anyone?

But everyone will remember a Superbowl win.

Because he should have a chance at the record how many guys have even gotten close to a chance to break Dickerson record the last what 40 years….

what AP in like 2012 that’s it coming up what 9-10 yards shy.

How many guys have had the chance at the record since we went to 17 games?

As many as who had chance to break the record… and going for the record doesn’t stop them from going to the SB either

Yes one…doesn’t necessarily negate the other

So with the Vikings winning we're locked into the #2 seed right?

Just makes it more difficult

The rushing record….against the giants….can very much be accomplished.

Yes...because it's important for the Giants to win that game...so they won't stack the box with 9 guys every play...they don't want to get burnt by the pass.

You are in the Giants organization...the home run result for you would be to prevent Barkley from getting the record while also losing to the Eagles to preserve a top draft spot.

Why wouldn't you just stack the box and let the Eagles pass all day... you give up passing TDs it accomplishes both of those goals.

Yes, no doubt. But is it really worth the risk of exposing our stars to the possibility of injury right before the playoffs? I wouldn't chance it.  I don't really need to see Bark get the all-time rushing record either. He's already accomplished what only 9 other RB's have, a 2000+ yd. rushing season.

I want another Super Bowl.

" oops we gave up a passing TD again"

I'd like to see Barkley get the record for most rushing yards in a season...which includes playoffs.   Be awesome to see him add another 600 yards during the playoffs.  150 average for 4 games.

Terell Davis.....1998... 2476 rushing yards including playoffs.

That's the record I want to see Barkley get

Idk why the Lions are using starters. Arrogant and ignorant

When you break through nine guys stacking the box you get….60 yard rushing  TD.

You need to see McKee ...remember.  if you disagree, you should never bring it up again anymore.

The discussion to me is arrogant and ignorant...you play to win the championship, nothing else.   We need to maximize our chances for that, nothing else matters.

And yet the Lions game tonight meant absolutely NOTHING….and their starters played the whole game. I’m with you Joe, starters need to rest and get healthy. I just think they are going to ask to play….at least a half. I hope they don’t…..

Who is QB?

Our guys have been getting banged up each week...the OL especially.  Division game always has some bad blood involved.   The only reason for either team to play is the rushing record.

Ham thinks it's the same stacking the box to try to win...they don't care about the win...doesn't mean 9 guys and no depth..they will cheat inside not 9 guys all out blitz and one opening TD stuff.

It's going to have to be a grind...do we need to see that?   It's the weekend, I'd like to enjoy it and not have to watch football since the following weekends are all going to involve a lot of football getting watched.
