I’m not making any excuses. I never did in fact. I did however spin the positive of Elliott came through with field goals we needed every badly in adverse conditions. That maybe it was the positive boost Elliott needed to deliver going forward.

He does….but he’s been real focused on protecting the ball. Which is what the majority have overly stressed. Probably a factor in his injury unfortunately.

We had some serious pass blocking issues that nearly cost us the game

He used to be money in the bank,multiple missed XP's can cost you the game now because it's tougher going forward. I'm not going to argue about it,He is hard to trust now.  Hit or miss is not what he's paid to do. XP's should be automatic not "clutch going out" manual Done

Jake came through pretty solid on that S KO. Think they returned it to the 35. But that could have been real bad situation there.

Yes... our depth is huge issue, the difference between this year and last year.   Would like to avoid 3rd string though.

Jalen Carter’s conditioning this season took him to the next level. Something I questioned from him. Guy really very obviously put in the work.

Our offense was 3 runs and the D set up the other 3 FGs.   Gainwell should have had 10 carries in addition to Barkley’s.  Worst coached game of the season by far.

Rodgers is playing great ball. Would be a starter most places. I feel confident for the most part with him being a starter. Thought he had that interception. Picked up that fumble and…oh boy….he’s definitely a weapon returning.

Just don’t know if our guys are prepared properly in the pass game. Don’t have enough snaps of experience being a likely factor. But also I’ve just all along been questioning our pass route concepts and plays. Just seen our receivers covered way too much these playoffs. But also… AJ had those two drops. Pretty tough when a guy of his caliber isn’t catching fairly easy balls.

Joe, you were mad at the play calling today. Several places I agree. However, ONE I place strictly on Hurts.  You are an EXPERIENCED NFL QB. You MUST understand where you are on the field. If a pass play is called, UNDERSTAND the moment. I am speaking of the safety Hurts took. To me that was 100% on the QB. I was pissed right there.

Rolling him left on 2nd and 8 was plain stupid! Calling pass plays….maybe Hurts audibled out of a run play….I don’t know…but throwing in those conditions when the running game was working was baffling and Mr Verse was laughing with good reason.
